NO, NEVER, NOT A CHANCE!!!! D12's biggest draw to play in Houston is Harden, followed by Parsons, a great big man coach, a city that is dying to get him here, and the chance to build a solid championship contender that can compete with anyone for the next 4+ years. And Harden handles the rock as much as some PGs. A superstar, overpriced PG is the last thing the Rockets should go after IMO
How do folks make these pictures? Damian Lillard and a Lottery pick. Anybody who wouldn't trade Harden for that is either lying, or a fool.
I'd trade Harden for LeBron or Durant. Anyone else would basically be either a downgrade or lateral move, and Harden has youth on his side. If Howard demands we trade Harden away as a condition for signing here, Morey should just laugh in his face, tweet out that Dwight's an idiot, and wash his hands of this sweepstakes.
OP is making coachbadlee look like a good poster in comparison. Because totally wasn't #3 in the 09 draft.
Our Starting Lineup next season if we don't get Dwight (presumably): Lin Harden Parsons undersized PF Asik Our Starting Lineup next season if we do what DH wants, reportedly, and get a stud PG: Paul ? Parsons undersized PF Howard I'd much rather have a ? at SG and 3 stars that Harden at SG and only 2 stars.
No, we don't trade Harden and here's why. 1. A bird in hand is worth 2 in a bush. How long did it take us to get that 1st star player? 2. Coming off a severe injury, there are questions about Howard's health. With our history of injuries, that is a concern. The only question about Harden's health is why (after playing 40mpg for 82 games) he isn't fresh as a daisy for the playoffs. 3. This team's a 2nd round/WCF team as is. We do need a back up for Harden though. With Howard, we're a WCF/Finals team. For these reasons, I wouldn't trade Harden just to get Howard here.
Dude you are making a losing argument. There is no logic to you opinion. Why would you trade the best player by far on your team, top 10 - 15 player in the league (and rising)? You really don't know to much about sports & how to put a team together. Sorry but that's just my opinion.
Yeah, and Darko Milicic was a #1 pick ... remember that? I think Harden ISO ball will ruin team chemistry, and his defense gives up almost as many points as he scores. His $80 million 5 year contract will tie up salary for most of D12's remaining career. One of the advantages of Dallas is that they have NO such contracts. They have massive cap room in 2014, which is very important.
