Talk about the series here. Please no PBP in this thread. Unless otherwise noted all games are on CSN-H (for about 40% I guess).

6-28 Jerome Williams, RHP vs. Bud Norris, RHP 7:10

6-29 Joe Blanton, RHP vs. Jordan Lyles, RHP 3:10

6-30 C.J. Wilson, LHP vs. Lucas Harrell, RHP 1:10

Boy Castro has some big pop, he hasn't exactly been hitting wall scrapers.

Also, is Brad Mills still managing telepathically? Sure, let's pull Bud at 93 pitches.

I'd take Wallace at SS over Cedeno.

Went to the game. I am not one to boo, so I didn't... but if I did, Ambriz would have been. I know Cedeno should have made the play, but stop the freaking damage and throw a strike. Please send him to OKC and call up Stoffel. He just hurts more than helps at this point.

I don't understand why the team keeps Cedeno. He isn't young. Makes way to many mistakes in the field, often from being a little too nonchalant. These are the mistakes you make as a rookie, not at 30. 9 seasons in the big leagues and his total WAR is negative. I think you have enough information to realize he is terrible.

agreed at least Marwin provided some pop and was a better fielder.

    Defensively, there is no contest.

But offensively, Cedeno leads Gonzales in most offensive categories including BA, OPS, & SLG%

I am not a Cedeno fan, but Marwin's OPS of .589 is just not acceptable (granted Cedeno's .619 isnt much better). The difference is we know Cedeno is not part of our future and is basically a placeholder while Marwin IS competing for our future. If he is to be part of it, he has got to have more offense.

Norris has really had the Angel's number this year and having a real good year in general. I kinda hope we keep him just to have someone fans are still familiar with.

Yeah, we suck at SS either way. I wish Elmore or Villar would start with Marwin backing them up.
