Dwight Howard looking at houses in Houston? (UPDATE: Howard responds from UCLA)

Just saw on instagram that Dwight recorded a video at his camp...in UCLA just an hour ago..

 

I get the "keep hope alive" stance..... But for whatever reason Dwight put it out there.

So we should just calm down for now.

Even if it is true, he doesn't want people to know. So why bug?

The realtor sounds pretty defensive now in his replies to other people.

 

I'm not surprised. Normally when these rumors pop up (every year) no one actually takes the time to debunk them and they just hang out there for awhile until the discussion dies down.

 

What if that was recorded like 2 days ago?

Apparently Instagram videos can't be pre-recorded. At least thats what someone in this thread said.

 

Ok, so I know this realtor pretty well and I've known him to "stretch the truth" more than once.

He's a young guy and I wouldn't straight up call him a liar, but.... sometimes he and the truth can have a contentious relationship.

 

They can be held for however long you want. IE you can record the video, close the app, and bring back the app 5 hours later and post it. It's just highly unlikely because you can't go back to instagrams home page without either posting or discarding the video.

So its possible, just not likely.

 

If Howard makes big decisions based on a meaningless false rumor (which is somewhat expected at a time right now just days before the start of FA), then I am not sure it would be a great idea to give him a max deal.

 

My belief is that he heard from another realtor that Dwight is coming to town to look at houses and he just jumped on it like it was a fact and he was already here.

This sounds like the most likely story. Someone might have been pulling his leg or flat out lying, he ran with it and perhaps embellished a little thinking it would be cool.
