no to rondo. he leads garbage offenses b/c he's a liability shooting the ball. the last thing we'd need next to harden.

if rondo is on the team, its he who should have the ball not harden. Harden should be spotting up

lol based on what? based on the fact that rondo has "led" bottom 5 offenses consistently for the celtics?

The lack of leadership and intangibles with Dwight and Rondo being paired up is beyond frightening.

Rondo playing off the ball waiting for the corner 3 on kick-out from either Harden iso-drive or Dwight double-team?

He would succeed with Harden if he just sticks to driving and passing.

Yeah but harden will be the one passing it to rondo. Do not want.

Enticing, but not feasible based on what this team is trying to do. You need a PG who isn't so iso-centric with the ball since we have Beard. Second, you need a PG who can shoot the ball well. That most certainly isn't Rondo's specialty. He's a surpreme defender, but it just doesn't seem to be a match, not to mention he's coming off of a torn ACL.

I thought the ideal backcourt partner to Harden has to be a lights out shooter? Now we want someone who's even worse off the ball than Lin?

They just drafted a spot-up shooting pg in Canaan and there are rumors that they are shopping Lin. It looks to me like they are running with the idea of keeping the ball in Harden's hands and surrounding him (and hopefully dwight) with shooters. Makes a lot of sense. He's the top PnR player in the league. Why wouldn't you want the ball in his hands?

Rondo will probably be traded for Eric Gordon, doesn't make much sense, but it makes a little.
