I go through periods of having a lot motivation to "succeed" in life in various aspects. But sometimes I can go through stretches where I am seriously lacking it . How do you deal with this issue ? What keeps you motivated or unmotivated?
Where are you in life, right now? High school? College? Out of college, and looking for a job? Different social and psychological motivators are present in different stages of life.
Do what you enjoy. Pace yourself and know when to rest. Set things into motion so you can 'coast' for a few days when you feel weary. Stay fit and healthy. Your diet is very important. You might be sick or have allergies that are knocking you down, so go to the doctor and see what's going on.

Your job/career can also affect your motivation. I'm 21, and work in IT at a managed service provider. Pretty much hate it but feel like I'm stuck as I don't have any experience in any other field. Exercising and other activities like that definitely help the mood though
I stay away from unmotivated threads and unmotivated Clutchfans. But, seriously, folks... Same here. I have people depending on me, and they count on me keeping going for them to survive.
I seen a lot of changing. The way I felt about you...and the way you felt about me. What I'm trying to say is...if I can change...and you can change. Everybody can change.

If you don't necessarily love your job, do everything you can to make your life outside of your job as fulfilling as possible. Then you won't care that you don't love your job.
I'm a very results-oriented person, so I try and set little mini-deadlines for myself to achieve goals. This is also a good way for me to break the monotony of whatever it is I'm doing, whether it's in my career, in the gym, or on the football field/bball court.
That is true when I am consistently setting short term goals, I usually do quite well in work, women and sports. But when sometimes I take it for granted that I show up with a lot of desire, I tend to actually come up little flat. But I am trying harder to keep the motivation, but I am going through a phase where I am evaluating a lot of things for the next 5-10 years. I will be reaching the big 3-0 soon.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaizen Kaizen is a Japanese business term meaning continual improvement. Basically if you aren't striving to be better, faster, stronger at whatever you do, then you are wasting your time in this life.
