Lol , this is like in my country , to be described as ****ting in your own back yard , if it were true to garnish these trading rumours with talk of bev being better . I can't accept that the rockets would do this.


Surely this part is marks little garnishing . The trade part i can accept that it is creditable.

 

I am not sure lin will make them back the 15 million they will pay him in that last year. If he produces 15 million and you pay him 5 thats a 10 million profit.

Next year maybe that goes down to 12 million (salary increase)

then the final year its a wash.

If you trade him now your up big...I would do it if I got a good return.

 

They paid him 8.3... The only team that has anything to do with the 5/5/15 deal is if NY signed him

They paid him 5 last year and they will pay him 5 this year. The following year he will get paid 15. Owners may balk at having to pay that. That is the hike that they have to pay while Les got a bargain.

 

I am glad Lin's poison pill is hard for others to swallow. The kid deserves to stay with Rockets for the rest of his contract.

Regarding the fact that you were so explicit about the opinion that Beverley is better than Lin — This has to be information that is generally shared by a number of people, otherwise your source would be outed. Am I correct?

My point is that based on the way you presented the information, i would assume it is broadly accepted within the organization, and not something a very select few are privy to.

 

And partly because they're mostly unbias. This guys seem quite bias for Bev. (who is awesome, in his opinion).

 

I couldn't care less about Lin. Still, the original tweets look like talk from someone ignorant of the facts. Then again, if the information was obtained from a third party source then I suppose Sham isn't too much to blame.

Didn't one of the guys during a podcast or maybe a post say that probably 80% or 90% of owners don't worry about the salary amount, they worry more about the cap. I believe that. These owners are billionaires and Lin will bring in some money to offset his salary.

 

I seriously doubt that the Rockets would have trouble moving Lin. It's more a question of what they get in return.

Incorrect. He was paid 5/5/15 but his cap count was 8.3/8.3/8.3. NY's cap count would have been 5/5/15 so the last year would have really messed up the cap space freedom.

 

Lol... however this situation turns out, this is gonna be one of the defining moments of Clutchfans. Either Mark Deeks is gonna end up being proved legit if Lin is traded or he's gonna be called a hack for eternity. This thread is already definitely up the levels of that one thread of, "Is this Jeremy Lin's girlfriend," where a picture of Lin was posted where he was snapped with a pretty girl, and then the girl signed up to Clutchfans and was accused of being a tranny.

 

You're not much better, just to post putting down others. They have the right to express their opinion as anyone else.
