Bought Born Sinner (J. Cole's new album) on iTunes at midnight of the release date. I've listened to it all the way through twice now. It's so far ahead of Cole's first album that it's not even funny. Even the Interludes are excellent. I've listened to a few songs from Yeezus (Kanye's new album)... I just can't get into it. The three songs I've listened to from Mac Miller's album (Watching Movies, I Am Who Am (Killin' Time), and Suplexes Inside of Complexes and Duplexes) are pretty damn solid. I haven't tried the rest of the songs yet.

Dear clutchfans hip hop listeners, I've recently been recording tracks for a new mixtape, I know there are a lot of hip hop fans around these forums and I would love to hear what people think. I've been writing/rapping for years but recently been trying to take it more seriously. Please give any feedback, positive or negative, if you think I suck just say so I probably need to hear it if that's the case. Keep in mind I'm recording these tracks in my closet not in a studio so the quality is below professional level. Also does anyone know any good websites or forums for posting you music to get feedback and/or exposure? What kind of niche/style do you hope to fall under? I thought your rapping was pretty good. My suggestions (I'm no expert): add more dynamic contrast in each song (build momentum so to speak, having more loud moments and soft moments).

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not really trying to fall under a specific niche/style at all other than "hip-hop," just trying to do hip-hop in my own personal style. Thanks for the tip I'll try to keep that in mind next time I'm writing/recording. I'd rep but I haven't had repping privileges for months, not sure why.
Lean, I will listen to your songs shortly. Regarding your question, Datpiff is the biggest mixtape site and has a huge community. You definitely have to upload your mixtape and upcoming ones there. Other good ones are mixtapeleak, livemixtapes, getrightmusic.
Your rapping is good, but you sound a bit bored, I don't know. You gotta be A: more aggressive or B: faster if you keep the voice level. Just my 2cents, sure other peepz will have something to say, too.
