What did Dallas do tonight? They got picks in an overall weak draft. How are they more appealing than Houston after this? We are in a position where we don't need to make a hundred moves to try harder. Morey has been setting this up for the past few years. I've never heard one player list the teams activity in a draft for a reason choosing that destination. The whole argument is absurd.

Last note: using rumors as a benchmark for who's in the lead in just nonsensical.

    You are right.

Meanwhile Rockets have had Harden recruit Dwight since the all-star break so yeah, the Mavs have really been going at this Dwight thing.

Yes, you are right. We only needed to make one.

Dallas has nothing to offer Howard that is any different than LA. Aging superstar with a non existent supporting cast and cap space. Trading for a few rookies doesn't change their appeal. Let me know when dallas has a young superstar in Harden, a young small forward that Dwight is friends with in Parsons and other young talent in Asik and Lin. Oh wait, they don't.

Sure, every one wants more money, but if Howard really wants to come to Houston, he can still sign here as a free agent for less than the max.

That's what we all have been doing this entire offseason with Howard. Don't you believe that we are still front runners to get him? You believe that because of the rumors that have been coming out since the end of the season.

Which ever one he goes to, he will make them instant contenders. He would look good next to Dirk, who can still play, btw.

I just said in my last message that both teams will have the cap to sign him and then it's up to him. The moves made today don't impact that at all. Whatever happened today we'll all end up in the same place and it's up to him to decide. I believe we offer a better situation regardless of rumors.

Look guys, i'm just saying. Dallas made a lot of moves that don't make any sense on the surface, but that's just on the surface.

Dallas is walking on the treadmill right now. I mean, they are moving a lot, but did they get any closer to Dwight? Not really.

But hey, at least they are doing SOMETHING.

I didn't realize free agency ended today as well. Quit being so dramatic; there is a lot of time to make the appropriate moves to clear cap space.

Dallas is just trying to do what Houston has been doing for the past 4 years in one night. Stupid Dallas.

If Dwight wants to win, Houston is in better position than Dallas

And if you're Dwight would you rather go for the old woman on the treadmill doing something or the young blonde standing next to it doing nothing?

People need to stop quoting the troll. Otherwise, there is no benefit in having him on ignore.

Some may say that the plethora of moves Dallas made reeks of desperation more than ingenuity.

    So would most sane men.

The question is... Can we consider Dwight a "sane man"?
