    He's a foreigner!

"Mark Deeks owns and operates ShamSports, and doesn’t do much else with his time. He is even more not-Canadian than Trey Kerby, being born, raised and stuck in England. When not writing about basketball, he can be found either appearing on game shows, inventing character names for non-existent sitcoms, or Googling his own name."

There is no CP3. Doc Rivers didn't move to LAC without knowing CP3 is coming back.

Perhaps we are combining Lin and t-robs contract to get Aldridge. Their salary s match up pretty well. Can you imagine Aldridge/Howard front court.

sure, but are you chris paul? and if you're an nba gm, do you completely ignore the possibility? shopping him around doesn't mean he's going to do the trade, it means he's looking at possibilities.

Does Trey Burke fit with Harden any better than Lin?

    moving lin does two things...

    - 1) frees up a lot of cap room. 8 mil worth of cap room. we do need cap room to sign dwight, even though we don't need all 8 mil of it.

    - 2) and this is where mark is getting at - the fact that any team that has him owes him 15 mil in 2 years. we as fans don't really care about that since it's not our money and the cap hit is only 8 mil not 15. BUT according to mark, the rockets (or les) doesn't want to have to pay that much in his third year and hence they're looking to move him.

so i guess you can see it as killig two birds with one stone.

    Not really shocking news here.

Utah, New Orleans, Milwaukee, Sacramento and Orlando all make sense.

I can understand it. I just dont think it would be wise to do it until we are sure dwight is coming.

The time is not right for this. Too many unknowns left. We can clear about enough space by getting rid of T-Rob. Losing Lin in addition could probably net you Millsap at most and that's an unknown. Wait for Howard and then do a move like this.

Duh I understand that, but this guy keep emphasisng that its more for a salary dump. I mean is Les that cheap or do they really don't like Lin and don't want to pay him this money and the salary cap is just a bonus even though they don't need it for Howard.
