I beg to differ. While he isn't what he once was, he still was very effective last season. The fellow is far from chump change.

    Paul Pierce - 35
    Kevin Garnett - 37
    Joe Johnson - 31
    Deron Williams - 29
    Brook Lopez - 25

That lineup is fine...but the issue is what are you gonna do in 2016??? or 2018???

They trade away 2014, 2016, and 2018 1st Round picks...wow...(and they didnt get a RG3 type player in return)...I feel so sorry for Brook Lopez. I thought the Nets were garbage in a garbage town in Newark, NJ...but they are still garbage. LOL...i really am totally perplexed.

He put up 18p, 5a, and 6rpg last season... That's not too bad with 19.14 PER... He's definitely getting older but he's not done.

Has the Nets replaced the Bobcats as the worst managed team in the league? Unbelievable, just unbelievable.

Oh yeah, it's a win now trade... And hope that when the old guys contracts expire you can trade or sign someone in free agency. Bold move.

I don't think it's that bad for the Nets. Their draft picks would've been high first round anyways. They're still a big market team and they'll hope they can sign or trade for guys once their vet's contracts run their course.

3 first round picks from a team you just made one of the top teams in the NBA ain't worth much. Who are the picks from? If those are Nets picks, this is essentially Humphries, Wallace, Shenglia, and three potential bench players. Boston would only due this if they were wanting to blow it up. In a big fireball.

    Nah, not done.

Dude still can hit shots, get to the line, and make plays. He's still better than Gerald Wallace if you ask me.

Kidd might as well suit up and join the party.

Wow...that's a lot of money for a second round exit. Is Lopez even gonna be healthy this year? When the doctor messed around with a screw in my knee it took a year for me to be back 100%. I can't imagine Lopez will recover without any issues.
