Would you trust a lawyer who has no experience practicing law to give you legal advice?

Maybe I'm not a diehard rap or hiphop fan like some of you guys here. But I like all kinds of music except for country and for me to really consider an album great - it has to have stuff that every time I listen to it, I find something new. This was the case with MBDTF and this is the case with Yeezus. Maybe the raps themselves are uninspired or whatever blah blah. But I have always liked music more for the beats themselves or the way it sounds than lyrics. It also doesn't hurt that I really like electronica type music.

I think some of you guys who have dismissed this album so quickly need to give it a listen every day for at least 5 days in a row. And listen with an open mind...

Law and art are complete polar opposites.

Btw, Manny you need to listen to an artist called "Burial"

The problem is it's not just the lyrics, the beats and concept iareuninspired, too. This whole thing seems rushed and done without focus or inspiration. Think it's like some of modern arts and architecture, some of them are just pathetic compared to old stuff but people try to sell it as great no matter what, trying to see thing that just aren't there.

Don't blame technology for your mistakes or Swoly-D will come in here with his righteous self and make you take responsibility for the mistakes you made.

Born Sinner is amazing, way better than his debut. Really recommended.

Want to first say, I went to Dollar and a Dream. It was dope man. And i agree Born Sinner is way more appealing to me as a whole than Yeezus. Its fluid and actually tells a story. He's a humble man with truth in him.

Kanye lost me with the Daft Punk-isms, etc. It seemed forced. People say it sounded like transformers clashing together. I agree. Sometimes its over-done and it was... I am a big Kanye fan, but i expected way more from him. J. Cole just did his thing. And his hard work showed.

I'm glad Born Sinner is getting great review. I was following the guy before Jay signed him and I was really disappointed with his debut album. I felt he commercialized himself too much that he sacrificed what made his mixtapes so good.

Love Let Nas Down. He was just in town and did an interview about that song. Allegedly more mix tapes coming out soon from Cole.

Its lyrically average at best, and I respect him continually trying to be different on his albums but this just simply isnt very good. Born Sinner > Yeezus.
