But back to the topic at hand, I really don't think Dwight would want to waste another year by going to Dallas. Dallas won't make any noise last year with that squad. He might as well stay in LA and wait for the Lakers to retool the team after next year all the while staying in Hollywood.

Houston with Harden, Parsons and McHale is a no brained.

I think it's killing Chris Broussard and his "multiple sources."

It means to say Dwight unlikely to resign with LA is jumping the gun.

Rudolph is probably the most in tune with Dwight's thinking. He was the first one to report Dwight opted in last year.

look dont you know the power of positivity...throw logic and reason out of the window. Make all things point toward Howard in Houston so it will happen...

If its coming out of dwight's camp, then i think they are doin it to get dantoni out or force a trade to clips. Dwight's camp leaked selective info out last year for leverage too.

Thanks for letting us know what you are hearing regardless of what the outcome is at the end. Im sure for the folks on the end of the line that aren't directly connected with Dwight but impacted regardless, its extremely frustrating.

Im assuming with Dwight and Fagan there is more mis-information being spewed out daily than actual real information for variety of reasons. Its either a poker game move to throw people off, the athlete is being an arrrogant fool, or the the information is actually correct and can't be taken seriously.

Still its nice to at least know what everyone is hearing. Thanks.

Can't post pictures, but DocRocket just tweeted about Reggie Bullock? Is this who we are selecting?

Reggie was much more famous than Ray Allen, but that does not mean he was a bigger star. Ray Allen is a 10-time all star. Reggie only made it 5 times. Ray Allen has settled into being primarily a three-point shooter in his late career, but people forget he was a very complete player (and quite athletic) earlier in his career.

I think our ace-in-the-hole is Josh Smith. Atlanta (from reports at the trade deadline last season) had interest in Asik for Smith trade then. I see no reason they wouldn't have the same interest now when they could lose him for nothing.

If we say to Dwight, "hey sign here and our next move is J. Smith S&T for Asik and DMo.". I think DH would look at that pretty favorable. To play with both Harden, Parsons, AND Smith....hard to walk away from that. Neither LA or Dallas can offer that.

And I know some of you would say "I'd rather keep Asik" well this is about getting DH and if having to trade Asik for Smith what it takes to get DH to sign.....so be it!!

You're painting with a very broad brush, man. Maybe you should go the Home Depot and buy a new one. The fellow is simply one of several sources we are reading here. He just happens to be a member, instead of some talking head on ESPN or somewhere else. Credibility has always been an issue in times like these. A fellow can have "inside sources" that tell him what they have heard, and then what that source heard can be changed, because people change their minds. You know, GM's and stuff like that there. Then the local source, a Doc Rocket, or a cyberx, is essentially hung out to dry through no fault of their own. They passed along what they knew, and the situation simply changed. I'd rather have the information people like them get, even if it's based on a very fluid situation, than no information at all.

We've had the most unlikely sources you can imagine post what they found out here, get rediculed for it, and then be proven right. That's the other side of the coin.

I'm so tired of these rumors, in what universe would a stat guy like Morey actually want a chucker like Josh Smith on his team?
