    Yeah that concerns me too.

IMO Dwight just doesn't have the post game to be a #1 option on a championship team. He's not a Hakeem, Shaq, Robinson or even Ewing caliber center.

I agree completely and I think signing with Dallas would be stupid for him unless Cuban has inside knowledge that Luhbrahn will be joining him.

Another ESPN manufactured headline. Say Houston alone doesn't draw as much views to it headlines as much as adding Dallas to the mix. Dallas has NOTHING for Dwight to win with this season. All they can do is sell next season when Dirk can take a paycut but that's basicllly what the Lakers are selling too.

One serious advantage I think Dallas has over Houston is that Howard without a doubt would be the #1 guy in Dallas. Which seem's to appeal to Dwight's massive overblown ego. Houston on the other hand can't guarantee that since we have a young 23 yr old budding super star in James Harden.

This makes the most sense. Mavericks have rarely been mentioned throughout this whole thing with only a few people saying they needed to catch up to the Rockets. All of a sudden they're favorites to sign Dirk. Yeah right. Lets bring up the Warriors again, or the Hawks. I hate Broussard.

Deja vu - Magic got a coach who ran a gimmicky offense and no defense fired.

but he claims he wants to win right? to win in this league, you need an amalgamation of extraordinary talent, and we give him that..

otherwise, like a poster said earlier, he's just moving laterally. he should just stay in LA.

I actually agree with this. Josh Smith can bring that defense we need at the 4 while still being able to play uptempo.

The Lakers want him to be the number 1 guy. Mitch said yesterday Dwight is "The future". Dwight wants touches but doesn't want to be the guy. He was treated poorly by LA.

It's still not a strong reason to sign with the Mavs. Especially when you consider that to win in this league you need to be playing alongside other superstars.

    @Vince_Galloway

Broussard says mavs are frontrunner for D12 because Dirk is ageing and they have money in 2014.....the exact same situation the Lakers are in.

    Nailed it.

Not to be THAT GUY, but the one team to win with one superstar was Dallas. I agree and think that you need multiple stars, but it's just find that interesting.

    Crap.

This means he'll be re-signing with the Lakers.

Broussard is in good with Dwight and his people.

    I believe this.

Lets see if the Lakers make a coaching change. If they give Phil the same power that the Clippers gave Doc, he would come back.

Who liked D'Antoni? Pau compained, Jamison isn't coming back because of D'Antoni, Dwight hated it...

Makes no sense to keep D'Antoni IMO.
