Clutchfans are offering way too much for LMA. He's better than any of our players outside of Harden, but not worth emptying our roster. The reward just isn't there. We can't afford LMA, and if we can, we can do better.
They have Batum...what are they wanting Parsons for? I think they'd take all of our project 4s though...not White though.
Just curious would trading: Asik One of jones/dmo Trob 2014 1st rounder 2014 2nd rounder from Knicks Brooks and delfino out us Work and would we still be to offer Howard the max?
He's just making a joke because Bill Ingram isn't an insider. I can tweet some random trade scenario off the top of my head right now and be just as reliable as his tweets.
Hopefully they'll want Lin instead. Lin will love Portland and the people there. Dwight LMA Parsons Harden Beverly... Score...
I don't understand why LMA would request a trade. This all seems to fishy. He has a pretty solid team and the only thing he is missing is a legit center to play with. A few moves here and there and portland is back in relevance.
They're hanging up the phone if we're not offering Harden in the deal. There's no one else they would want
We don't even have to include Brooks and Delfino and the salary already works for LMA (which I assume is what you meant). But we would be taking on MORE salary, i.e., about $1.2M more, so that we'd actually be FAR from able to offer Dwight a max. We'd only be able to offer him like...$15M or something I believe.
LaMarcus or DeMarcus? Howard - Dwight or Josh? Smith - Greg or Josh ? Carlos - Boozer or Rogers? Robinson - Thomas or Mrs. ?
Look closer. The Charlotte pick has the opportunity to be huge and Jimmy Butler is an excellent player.
The trade proposals I am seeing are similar to D12 offers last year, which is ridiculous. And Chicago is not going to get rid of Noah. They want LMA with Noah on the court if anything. They already have an overpaid Gibson at PF, no way Chicago can get LMA. And Asik, DMO, and a pick should be plenty. Portland wont want Parsons with one cheap year left considering they have Batum their for 3 more expensive years. Parsons is staying in Houston for the foreseeable future, with Harden, and D12 hopefully.
You really think we could acquire LMA for Asik, Dmo, and a pick? The pick most likely wont be in the lottery, just doesn't make a lot of sense from Portlands perspective. LMA is a stud, last time I checked the don't come cheap.
