Good read. Much respect for TD. For more of the letter, here's the link: http://www.poundingtherock.com/2013/6/24/4458352/nba-playoffs-finals-spurs-open-letter-to-tim-duncan Lock if posted.
Was very difficult to watch. Timmy's character is something that alot of people should strive to emulate.
I love Timmay and that presser was brutal. I don't see why the author had to try to take some shots at Lebron there when he should've it would've been more meaningful to just focus on what Tim has done but whatever. Shane is great and it was hard to root against him but I really wanted TD to get another ring and I think he wanted it more than anyone on that court. At the end, the ball just didn't fall their way.
It's so hard to not like Tim Duncan. I mean, I hate the Spurs with a passion, but Duncan is the type of person you wish every superstar was like. I was really hoping the Spurs would have won Game 6. After the performance Duncan had in that game, it would have been the perfect way for him to go out. I remember JVG saying something like Duncan has never really had that signature game like most superstars have had... well he had it in Game 6, but everyone else on the Spurs blew it. I felt bad for him.
this has a bit more info on the potential signing http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...d-if-tim-duncan-signed-with-the-orlando-magic
Players became free agents after three years back then. Here's the story. Yes, it was about a Big 3 alignment. βIt was probably a lot closer decision than people even think or even know,β β Tim Duncan talking about almost signing with the Magic http://ballislife.com/flashback-tim-duncan-2000-free-agency-feature-almost-big-3-in-orlando/
Like Tim Duncan, but screw those degenerate scumbag Spurs fans. One look at SpursTalk will make anyone happy for their heartbreak, pain, and tears.
LOL! Seriously, can you imagine how much of an enormous douchenozzle the writer must be. It was so pathetic I couldn't even finish reading.
