In the 2013 NBA draft, the Houston Rockets selects: Another 6'8 PF

For me, it's a matter of trading TRob for a late-late first rounder; #28, right?

Despite your disdain for the player, we can do better than the #28 pick, especially in this draft. That's why I don't know why people are freaked out about the Spurs.

Gotta Wonder how Chicago can sweeten the pot. Take Royce maybe? Not sure they have the cap space to do it though.

    Beat me FullCourt! Nice.

I'm guessing we are waiting to get up higher for Giannis.

I'd want a future second rounder.

No but the Cavs do. Just tell them take Royce or we are trading with the Bulls.

As long as Pop is coach there they will continue to exceed expectations. I actually think Leonard could become an all star and carry a well rounded solid team in the same way that Iguodala was the best player in Denver.

I'd be happy to do a tip jar bet on how good kawhi will become, but who has the patience to carry that in my mind and wait so long to see who wins.

Those teams would be getting a steal for Robinson. Too bad we can't support his contract, I'd rather see him bloom.

Pop said he will retire when Duncan retires.

are 19th and 20th pick high enough to get The Greek kid or the Russian guy (not gonna try to spell their names)?

Really? At $58.5M cap HOU looks to be still in need of dumping the equivalent of a Royce White salary at least, no?

Hope we can at least get a future 2nd rounder out of it too or something of value. I don't care how bad he looked his rookie season, one year is too early to predict how good a top 5 pick can be. I understand that we need the cap space but trading for pennies on the dollar does not sound like Morey at all.

Good thinking. T-rob/White for 19th pick

would be one of moreys best trades...doubt cavs do it even if we send 2 million with it.

Yes. Either Stein doesn't know or he knows something about the cap we don't. If he did I think he would have reported it though.

Morey is playing this perfectly. The story went from "TRob untradeable" to "Teams falling over themselves to offer 1st rounders for TRob". He likely has teams negotiating against themselves at this point. I love our GM!
