True statement. I think it's a risk worth taking @ 14-20...wherever the Rockets (hopefully) move. If he hits and ends up being the next KD-ish type player, Morey and McHale will have their jobs in Houston locked up in perpetuity.

A lottery pick, even the 14th again, would be great. Draft Nogueira and stash him in Europe. Then take Glen Rice Jr. with the 34th and call it a day. They both fit our play style and our needs. Sucks to lose TRob this early, but we have to be all-in for Dwight.

they should trade TRob for a first round pick in 2014. deeper draft, and get an expiring vet with playoff experience

But there's still the rookie scale, right?

I doubt Rockets get top 5 pick and pay 4.5 mil for a player. This is probably a late first 1.5 mil-2 mil and would still save 2.5-3 mil for a shot at Dwight or it could be 4.5 saved if they draft a foreign player who plays overseas. Or packaged for something else (least likely but Morey's done it before)

there are some high falutin idiots on this board who consistently and with no particular reason uses the term racists. A big middle finger to you for freaking confusing racism with inexperience. And a bigger finger when that's your freaking first response to anything.

supposedly the Cavs gm Chris Grant has a reputation for "teasing." he gives teams the illusion like he is going to make a trade, but he never pulls the trigger.

So my mom was born in California, but her parents were both born in Mexico.... so my mom isn't American then?

Same thing goes for my girlfriend. She was born in Texas, but her parents were both born in Mexico.... So I guess she isn't American either?

Just watched Trading Places. Good movie on nature versus nurture, but seemed a little slower and a little less funny the last time I saw it.

Who gives a flying f**k if he's Greek or Nigerian? The point is that he's an extremely long amd athletic human being who plays basketball. And he's good at it.

    That's all that matters.

A young, topless Jamie Lee Curtis in her apartment, standing in front of a mirror while talking to a confused, down on his luck Dan Aykroyd. What can one say, except a simply perfect pair? That scene alone made the film. That the flick was also hilarious, with Eddie Murphy at the top of his game, made that one of my favorite comedies. Almost as funny as reading the confused posts regarding the best player to ever come out of Nigeria.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Deckard again.
