Les is grossly overrated. Not because he is cheap, but because he is unsuccessful at running a basketball franchise. One playoff series win in fifteen years?! Seriously. He bought a championship team and took it nowhere. Do you realize that numerous other franchises have built, rebuilt, and rebuilt again during the time we have been wandering in the wilderness of the NBA. Things are FINALLY starting to look up, but it has been a long, long, long road with Mr. Alexander.
.... Oh and if the Orlando (Affalo) trade with LAC (Bledsoe) goes thru, they won't have enough to satisfy or interest Lakers in a s & t .. So I hope that trade actually happens
^^ Lakers are old and Les Alexander is overrated .. AGAIN!!! LAC with its 2 young superstars haven't done much better than HOU the past couple years. And talk about overrated, WTF IS GRIFFIN?????????
Has anyone confirmed coach's multiple accounts yet? Every one of his threads on the GARM has been 1 Star, yet he still accumulates rep at a good rate.
the players he rebuilt around broke down, **** happens. That's like saying it's Paul Allen's fault that Roy and Oden broke down. What do you think he should have done differently?
Try engaging that thing attached to your head, you know, YOUR BRAIN. It would really help you appear much smarter than you do right now, which is to say not at all. 1) The Clippers have no money to sign Howard outright 2) The Clippers can't afford Dwight in a sign and trade without trading Griffin, so them playing together is impossible. 3) The Lakers are not trading Dwight Howard to the team they share an arena with, so he can join forces with CP3 and beat the Lakers down in their own gym. Dwight is either remaining a Laker or heading to Houston, and my money is on Houston.
Business wise he's been successful. And he's cheap. How bad off do you have to be to get in bed with Comcast. It's other cities that had to deal with what we've been dealing with for years... Major cities who aren't in football country. "D12, over 60% of Houston and mostly all of the surrounding area won't be able to see you play"... Another reason.
They knew about Yao's feet before they drafted him and T-Mac started breaking down in Orlando. They got Kato in a trade when they could have had O'Neil and gave him a ridiculous contract off the performance of a pre-season game. Franchise received a contract extension when he shouldn't have. Pippen got free money. Mat Maloney got paid. Anderson (the 6th man experiment from Utah) _ definitely no Harden. It's a lot of peculiar moves that have been going on under Alexander besides the two star popular players that broke down. And I would tell you what I would do _ tell Alexander to hire a guy like Jerry West to the board of executives to look over Morey's shoulders so he won't get carried away with his calculator. Atlanta just might not have our first round pick this year.
He'd be the only star on the Lakers not well past his prime and he can't go to the Clippers. If I was Howard, I'd head to where I could potentially win rather than staying stuck in LA taking the blame for an over the hill scrub team not winning.
How the **** is he going to the clippers...? There is no way the lakers are trading him to their home rival.
Yeah I might take Chris Paul and the clippers first, if I could swing it. But that's dicey. Failing that I would take harden over Kobe every day and twice on Sundays.
i'd be too busy hunting for big booty white girls with harden, then shopping at the banana republic with parsons and lin. that's just me as dwight though. Maybe practice my free throws with asik? send a million texty texts to hakeem to the point were he doesn't reply back. ohh, and of course..start a twitter war with shaqafool.
