    I don't think they could get a top 5 pick in the WNBA draft for Perkins.

    The OP's post (not shooting the messenger!) gave me a good chuckle. Good luck with that, Presti! Most of us never could figure out why you got the guy in the first place. Nice to see the team that knocked us out of the 1st round, after we scared the hell out of them in games 4 and 5, dealing with a pain in the arse.

    When the Celts traded Perkins for Green, most here thought the Celts were idiots for trading such a valuable defensive anchor. He's still the same big stiff from before.

    He is a bad contract. No one will give a second rounder for him unless a first is attached with perkins.

    And even then, i doubt he could pull that off.

    I somehow think that the only way perkins COULD be tried, is if it were to a team that had an even bigger contract than perkinds deal, like Amare for Perkinds, to free up cap space.

    At the time the trade was made most everyone thought it was a a smart move and would make them contenders. In a way it worked... Unfortunately Perkins is waaaay overpaid. Not only did they lose Harden because of it, but they traded Green to get him.
