No doubt I will...Lol.. And they just call me stupid and or insult me like I slapped their mother and call me a troll because I hurt their feelings by just giving my opinion. My apologies for breaking the rules that Clutch implemented for not having the same opinion as the people who are handing out insults.
Phil has no input at all, I trust Eric Pincus (Lakers beat writer for the LA times) more than I do other reports (CBS etc), Eric even commented on lakersground that he's certain his sources are valid and CBS' etc aren't, which is saying a lot.
My apologies Sir. Sorry I said something so horrible that hurt your feelings. Put me on ignore so you don't have to read or see my post...
Morey is over rated to what extent? people think he's the best when he's probably maybe 3rd or 4th? sure i suppose. But Les is tragically under rated, for periods he was long considered one of the best owners, but people often act like he has leprosy, his willingness to just let money go for draft picks/deals, let the GM do his business pretty much autonomously, pay the luxury tax when there's at least a reason to etc. What do people actually want from him? jump up and down and go on reality tv?
Being called a troll and all that nonsense, really doesn't mean anything. After a while, they usually calm down and actually start discussing the issue. They just have to get over that initial hate for an opinion that doesn't match theirs. It's cool.
Yea, Les is a great owner. I love the way he let Dream retire in Canada but held on to Yao for dear life and let the team go into cap hell.
I'm sure they talk/text (and I'm sure they think highly of one another but...) Mike D'Antoni is still the coach. Kobe is still there. The roster is old. Maybe if Phil was hired as coach, maybe I'd share your concern. And maybe he's willing to throw away next year but he called this season a nightmare. Why are things going to be so different next year?
1. Lakers stars are OLD, injury ladened, cap space ladeded, coach ladened. the only arguements for him to stay there is hollywood and history... 2. Choosing Paul, means leaving Lakers and then going to the clippers... imo this will be a career suicide for him... if he already have a lot of pressure now for leaving Orlando for Lakers... watch what happens when he leaves lakers for clippers... 3. Strip clubs vs hollywood? this is prolly the only valid arguement... but it all boils down to dwights character, if he choose hollywood over winning... then I dont want him here...
We've heard Dwight Howard wants to play with another viable big man. Why wouldn't he sign up with the team that has Terrence Jones, the younger version of Howard himself?
If I'm Dwight Howard and I for sure want to leave the Lakers. I'm going to HOU or San Antonio. HOU has a promising young team that is just a (Dwight Howard) away from the Finals. San Antonio is "always" good and almost "always" Finaks bound. I'm not choosing LAC be ause he thought the media was bad this past season? I live in So Cal and he was the report almost daily. Can you imagine if he bolts to the team a Ross the hallway? LAC , with all their talent.. Can't get past the 1st round. They added a better coach in Doc sure... But I don't think CP3 & Dwight with aging role players is any better than Harden, Lin, Howard & Parsons at all... I love our young team and I do agree with Parsons. They almost took OKC to a game 7 w/o Howard. Imagine them with Howard.. I'm sorry , I do not feel LAC will put out a better team then HOU .. Lakers with a healthy Kobe get past the 1st round and possibly 2nd so just resign with the Lakers
This right here, is my dream scenario. Though with the signing of Rivers in LA and the fact that he and Paul want to play together, things have taken a turn, imo. IDK. If you were the Lakers, would you let Howard walk or take a pretty good consolation prize in Griffin and Bledsoe?
