Hells yeah, many nice players in that early 2nd round / end of first round.

That actually makes sense. Maybe the Cavs think the 13 is too high for TRob, but in this draft, it seems fair to me.

I think it's less about Marion, more about the pick that Dallas would send with him.

Thomas Robinson is trash - it's nice that Cleveland is dumb enough to give up a 1st rounder for him while helping Maori clear cap space.

My guess is the Cavs are moving both their 2nds and are working on who gets which pick between Dallas and Houston

He can be a serviceable rotational player. His energy alone will keep him in the league for a while.

Teams are seemingly willing to give up a first while taking on his contract. We'll know soon enough.

Look at all the 4s - 5s the Cavs will have:

    Anderson Varejao
    Tristan Thompson
    Mareese Speights
    Tyler Zeller
    Nerlens Noel or Alex Len
    Thomas Robinson

I hate it when folks say, "Soandso is trash."

    That said, prefect segue to:

Insert ________ is trash is some riveting analysis.

    Good job, good effort.

I know it isn't a popular opinion in some circles here, but I don't see Robinson that way. It isn't at all unusual for a young big to take time to develop, and he came from a very dysfunctional organization. I'd be happy to see the Rockets keep the guy and let him spend time with the Vipers, have him spend stretches with the Rockets during this coming season, and continue to work here this summer, but circumstances seem to have made trading him essential. On Clutch's latest podcast, Assistant GM Gersson Rosas had high praise for the hard work being put in now by Robinson, and his potential. Robinson's future is still that of a high draft pick with potential, still an unknown quantity, with an equally unknown future, but he is far from being "trash." That's just ridiculous, with all due respect.

I'm not seeing the "trade is imminent?" update.

Sweet, I made it into the original post for the update.
Now let's see if I can beat J.R. in reporting the trade when it breaks.
I'm putting my chances at the same as the chances CP3 comes to the Rockets, slim to none.

Title change is in regard to today's update from The Chronicle/Feigan in which he hinted that a trade was imminent.

Robinson has potential but he really hasn't been given the chance to develop his offensive game. I wish him the best of luck where ever he lands and I think it sucks that once again we are discarding a player to chase after Howard's shadow.
