I'd trade Motie for a Top 10 pick and take Tekbo, without hesitation. Question is, would any team trade a Top 10 for a Lithuanian center who didn't play much last season?
I don't. I don't give up on a 7 footer that runs like a deer. Draft choices are pie in the sky, people value the unknown more than the known
No way, this draft is extremely weak at the top. A lot of the high lottery picks would have been mid 1st rounder's in last year's draft.
This. For a team like us that's posturing ourselves to add possibly two max players (one of which almost certainly would be acquired via S&T), do you really think DM would pass up the opportunity to acquire such a valuable bargaining chip? Or, hell, acquire the pick and flip it for DeMarcus Cousins.
Oh my God, are you kidding? Of course I would be ok with that. I'm genuinely shocked 35% have said no so far!! I would even give up two of our PF's for the number 3 pick, let alone the one who probably has the least trade value of the bunch right now.
The salary cap implications are why I said no, you can keep D-mo and still sign Dwight, the 3rd picks hold would require him to be dumped for next to nothing.
Brain says yes. It would be a steal for his current value and a high pick is easy to package in a trade for some proven talent. But I like Donuts' work ethic and skill set. Even in "win now" mode, you need to have young prospects to work with if you want to be a successful franchise. (that's not called the Lakers) Whatever I vote yes.
