Lin made the post season in new york too. Let's just see what happens in year three im starting to agree with the people that are saying this is crazy to debate on. Lin's game will speak for itself next year season and playoffs. I can't wait especially for playoffs when competition is at its highest.
? There are championship teams w/ a PG of Lin's caliber or worse. Certainly contenders who have a PG of Lin's caliber or worse. I am a bit unclear why he is such a liability. He's an average defender. Nothing great, but not a blackhole on defense like Melo or KMart. His TOs are a bit high, but at least it is getting better. He needs to work on that though. His shooting form is pretty darn good or decent, certainly not a liability. For the later half of the season, he was hitting 39% from 3 pt range and 44% from the field. 15 PPG 6 assists during that half of the season. His first half was just so atrocious it pulled down his overall stats and really made everyone view him in such a poor light...guy was in a new environment, had to change the role he was told to player overnight and was still coming off an injury. Those starting 2 months are not the norm, mostly because it was SO BAD almost no player in the nba should/could consistently play that poorly (37% from the field, 26% from 3 his first month lol). His latter half of the season is a lot more reasonable to judge him by and a better indicator of what we should expect, prior to offseason improvements.
Lin didn't play in the postseason in NY. He was injured in late March and never played for NYK again, yo.
Lin is good three point shooter I just think like Matt Schaub he appears to be a little jittery when competing against the big dogs. I believe Lin can overcome it unlike Schaub but right now at this point moment im judging him on what I saw this past season then playoffs. Competition got tough and he faded away and he has his worst games against Miami.
Back to what this thread is meant for... Executives believe Dwight will sign with Houston? I just jumped outta my seat a little...
Possibly. Possibly not. With Harden, Parsons, Howard and if we manage to keep Asik, and with him shooting like he did the second half of the season, I'd lean more towards he'd be "fine". No superstar, but far from a "liability". But, time will tell. We shall see. As Deck and others have requested (and rightfully so), I'm done with the Lin stuff on this thread though. Always cool to agree to disagree.
All I said was "Omer Asik for Andre Miller"? I was responded to Rockets_12 for even proposing that ludicrous deal. I'm not for it.
People, the title of this thread is "Sources: Dwight and CP3 hope to team up". Since Rivers is joining the Clipshow and they seem to be getting their house in order, can we agree that CP3 is likely staying in Clipland now? And that *IF* Dwight and Chris were to team up, it would be there? Can we please keep this on topic?
Haha! The ABJ group. You have them pegged. I'm a bit confused by your join date, though, and that of a few others on this thread. Only LOFs think Jeremy has any talent or worth, right? That's what I'm lead to believe time and time again here. How did you know in 1999 that Jeremy was going to sign with the Rockets? How did you even know about him back then? Are you his father or something? ;P
There are 8 elite pgs, most of us view him as part of that top 9-20 group or so, but the ABJ see him at about 48.
