    bring back Mandry!

My favorite Rocket for a short span. Wouldn't mind having him back --- for the right price.

    However, first thing's first..

I love Landry, but he wouldn't solve our PF problem. He'd be a solid backup at the right price, though.

He'll be the one who gets Paul Millsap $10 million a year then.

I loved landry, was so upset when we traded him but if we got dwight we would then have to trade asik to open up the room to sign landry... don't see it happening.

People, Carl Landry is not even a starter where he is playing now. Why would he start here? We have enough PF's on the bench.

He's playing behind an all-star. He would start here but I'd rather go after Milsap or Smith over Landry

I'd much rather give Donatas Motiejunas and Terrence Jones some time to develop then overpay for a role player who has only excelled coming off the bench.

Landry would be a good fit next to Dwight. He would be the floor spacer, post up option, and pick and roll big we need. He's not good at defense, but Dwight would make up for that. If we can't get any bigger fish, 6-8 million would be the right price for Mandry.

Only for the right price, which doesn't seem to be what he wants.

While I don't think we should get Mandry, this is a bad example.. of course he's a bench player.. they had Lee and Bogut

What money do you sign Landry with after getting Howard? The $2.6M "room midlevel exception"? Veteran minimum? Not gonna happen.

Only way you can afford Landry is if the Warriors agree to a S&T. My guess it they'd rather keep him themselves over trading him for prospects and future draft picks and whatnot. The Warriors are in a "win now" mode, having made, and advanced in, the playoffs.

Guess who else wasn't a starter where he was playing before the Rockets acquired him and made him a starter?

    1) Don't have enough money
    2) We still have a billion PFs (albeit bad ones)

He still thinks he should be a starting PF somewhere.

If we have to trade Asik to get Landry I rather keep Asik.

May as well let TJ start. Guys like Landry and Milsap are a waste of cap space when we have him.

Morey is quoted as saying "we dont want to get an average PF who would stunt the growth of the young guys".. As much as i have love for Landry, he is the exact definition of that
