Or Minnesota when they've got better PGs in Rubio and that ugly troll Barea.

    We shouldn't.

LMA is getting a little bit older. I'd be happier giving up a first round pick in the 2014 draft than giving up Parsons.

Once you have Howard on board with Harden you are instantly in the win now mode. You give up future flexibility (picks) to keep pieces you need to compete. With the way Parsons has developed, is a leader and is friends with Howard there is no way you don't keep him.

To get LMA you certainly would have to part with Asik. Then add in another PF to make the salary work and then some draft picks to sweeten the deal (make it fair).

If I was Morey, I'd give up Asik, TJones 2 first round draft picks (2014 and 2016) and maybe a 2nd for LMA.

    Lin
    Harden
    Parsons
    Aldridge
    Howard

That team has WCF written all over it and the picks you gave up to get LMA are now low.

Agreed but would Parsons be a deal breaker?

Yes, I'm not trading Parsons for anything less than an all-star. Putting him in a trade with Asik for LMA is overpaying IMO. You can't just go giving away your promising players, you hold firm on the negotiating and hope for the best. What other options do the Blazers have to move LMA while netting a good C?

Cavs # 1 pick and Thompson or Waiters. Pick could be Noel or Len. That's the current rumor.

Again I agree but LMA is an all star talent. Asik and Parsons are good but not all stars. If Howard is secured and Asik likely to be traded anyway why not for LMA? Role players can be replaced Asik and Parsons were both second rounders. Morey has more than proven he can find late round gems. I think Morey would pull the trigger.

We've already got a possible deal lined up for trob for a pick (assuming it's not with Portland)

I don't think we'd put Parsons in the deal, we'd try to get them to take a combination of their choice between Tjones/GSmith/Dmo/Royce as well as the pick we get for TRob.

I think Portland would do this because it gives them that defensive center they've wanted since Oden failed and it gives them some young/cheap pf's to let develop with Lillard. Plus whatever the pick gets them.

Asik is not enough for LMA and adding picks and Jones or Moti isn't either. You've got to sell them on potential and Robinson has the highest ceiling. I think they jump with Parsons but balk without him. Question is is putting together a big 3 of Harden, Howard, and LMA worth losing Parsons? IMO getting that third star via trade means likely losing Parsons.

I would trade parsons for lma. I dont see why they would need him cause they have batum... I think portland only looks at harden and asik and no one else.

Parson's does sweeten the pot but I just don't think it's necessary for the trade. They have Batum, they need a center, and they seem like they want to use Aldridge to get pieces to rebuild around Lillard. This means picks and prospects at needed positions.

Parsons is going to be looking for an extension or a big free agency pay check while they still have Batum on the books making 10 or 11 mil. I just don't see it.

If we sign Dwight then TRob will already be gone because we need to shed him for the cap space.

Houston orchestrates this trade after Howard privately assures the organization he will sign at a contract amount in order to make the move possible.

    Howard/Smith
    Garnett/Jones
    Parsons/
    Harden/Dieber
    Rondo/Beverly

If you can find a decent shooting 3 pt shooter that is a lineup that would challenge next year.

I'm not sure the Celtics have the leverage right now to trade Rondo for good value since no one knows how he'll come back from that injury. If the Celtics really are going into fire sale mode they'll probably trade him right before the deadline when they can get more in return for the rebuild.

So I proposed the Parsons inclusion on a Blazers board and no one is interested. They feel LMA is in his prime and an equal to Harden in talent and production. Always interesting to see how differently teams view each others assets.

For those who suggest moving Parsons pending the signing of Howard , I have to believe that he is pivotal in landing Howard in the first place ... Its his relationship with Howard as well as the opportunity to play with he and Harden that get Howards name on the dotted line.

I really find it hard to believe under those circumstances that Parsons is moved ....

Someone convince me otherwise .... without the deal including Parsons being for Lebron or Durant.

Also , Howards stated that he would like to play with Asik ....

In my opinion , the team keeps Asik , Parsons & Harden in the event they sign Howard - at least for one season.

Find me a way to get ridda Royce White .....
