That what I'm thinking. Him or mclemore whose ever left.

    Rose/hinrich
    Olidapo or mclemore
    Butler
    Boozer/Gibson
    Noah/okafor

    That's a good lineup
With their midlevel they can go for another wing because they aren't keeping Hamilton.

This, initially i was thinking aren't they in win now mode?

But Butler proved himself last season to start big time.

If traded, I could see Lu re-signing with the Wiz if he saw an improvement in their fortunes. Perhaps a knock on the playoff door. Ideally he'd prefer to play for a contender like most players who've been in the league a while now but I'm sure as long as the Wizards fortunes look on the up and up he would re-sign(obvy depending on the contract offered).

The fact that I know he's tired of the Bulls constantly shopping him. I think he would love to stay in Chicago after next season but I don't think he'd hesitate to join another contender especially when he thinks about how often the Bulls have shopped him.

Re-sign for how much? I wouldn't pay him anything close to his current salary.

Plus, Jimmy Butler has shown he can replace Deng's production with a cheaper contract and younger legs.

I'd do it if I were Chicago and take BPA at 3.

I would take the third pick for Patterson for sure. But not Okafor given that we need the money to pay Dwight.

It makes sense...the Bulls should probably also see what's out there for Boozer amnesty him or Gibson as well. Don't get me wrong Boozer is a good power forward, but he's quite expensive and aging.

I think if they were going to amnesty him they would have done it last summer. I gotta figure after last season, they won't be amnestying him this summer. Then again I don't know what their cap situation is heading into next season. Any idea how close they are to being in luxury cap Hades or if they will be there next season? (Too lazy to check:grin:)

Bucher reports that along with Deng, Granger and Aldridge could be in deals leading up to the draft... interesting.

Personally I'd love to have Aldridge on the team but that would only work if we were 100% sure that Dwight would sign because we'd need to give Portland Asik plus two of our young pfs.

Word is, Aldridge wants to escape from Portland's rebuilding project and has made it known that he'd like to land in Chicago.

Deng for Aldridge won't get it done. The Blazers want Joakim Noah in return and the Bulls don't want to give up the superior defensive big man.

Here's one way to get Portland's attention: Offer Deng and Charlotte's future No. 1 pick. The Bulls are counting on that Bobcats' pick (acquired for Thomas, ironically), to pay off big, because it's unprotected in 2016.

If Charlotte improves during the next two years, though, that pick could end up in the teens. So cashing it in for a 27-year-old all-star has plenty of merit. Aldridge averaged 21.1 points and 9.1 rebounds last season, and could play next to Noah.

There's no telling what might happen this summer, but the Bulls have a large payroll and limited means to make changes. Deng figures to be at the center of whatever transaction that occurs.
