It was alright, nothing special but not bad. Had some intense scenes. I had a tall ass dude blocking my view. And some black people showed up. Not very loud, but i don't really like the smell of cocoa butter.
I'm a huge fan of the book, and I enjoyed this movie far more than I expected to. A zombie movie on a bit of a different scale. Hoping Max writes another set of stories under the WWZ concept/universe.
It was okay. Maybe a 7/10. It had some intense stuff through the first 2/3-ish, but the Wales sequence wasn't all that. I had to keep shushing my wife's laughter at the zombie "click-click-click" scenes.
your lucky, my wife was getting contractions doing those scenes. I had to tell her to nut up and finish the movie.
If the producers were smart this should be the 1st of many World War Z movies but then again, how stupid were they not to do a Tv series?? Have they not heard of the Walking Dead?
Right? It could be like one of those Tales from the crypt/darkside anthology type tv shows where it's a different episode from different perspective with no correlation/connection to each story. Doing it as a summer blockbuster movie, I mean I kinda get it but maybe in the future it will turn into a tv anthology series, so I'm hoping for that soon.
An HBO miniseries would be awesome. It would give the characters more time to develop, but it also wouldn't suffer from a lot of the stagnant story lines that the Walking Dead experiences every once in a while.
So all I can remember from the novel was the patient zero talk, the blind guy, the trek north, and the lobo. Was the novel that full of social/political commentary?
I thought it was pretty good, but then again I'm a sucker for zombie movies. 8/10 The theater was PACKED and a surprising amount of ppl were laughing when the zombie dude was clicking his teeth near brad Pitt in that scene. Maybe I'm being harsh, but how the f*** is that funny?
