T rob Asik and a couple future picks, one first one second

i think thats enough to get LMA

    Lin/Bev
    Harden/anderson/this yr 2nd round pick
    Parsons/Garcia/vet min
    LMA/Tjones/Dmo
    Howard/vet min(dalembert or j o'neil)

    that team would be dirty

Why is Portland trading LMA? I'm a bit confused on that part.

A guy who works for me and is a huge Blazers fan said last week he thought trading LMA is best for the team. He said they won't be contenders this year or next and LMA's peak trade value is right now.

Also it is best for ten to rebuild around Lilliard who is 22. If they could land Klove than that would be a perfect fit for them. I would like us to trade for him though..

    Asik/Robinson/pick/$ for LMA/Barton

Whether LMA is available or not...he will not be cheap to get Asik and fillers won't do it...he's a franchise player I want him here but I doubt Morey could snag him..could be wrong tho

Wait, why in the world would Portland give up Aldridge??? They just got Lilliard!

Are you telling me there's a .01% that we could get Aldridge and Howard together?

If we failed to sign Dwight i would love to get la... Getting both is unrealistic but would top contenders... I wouldn't mind a fall back team of lin/harden/Parsons/Aldridge/asik... That should be top4 in the west...

If we sign Howard, I'm fine with that.

I understand that, where did i say sign him? It would be A nice fall back plan. i guess trading for him after signing Dwight Is in all possible, but would leave us depleted depth wise.

I think the market for him is limited. I don't think the Rockets make too much sense as a trading partner unless they love D-Mo, Jones, and T-Rob. Asik plus those 3 guys is about all we could reasonably offer IF we sign Dwight.

You put Lin/harden/parsons/Aldridge/Asik. I assumed you signed him. We would not be able to obtain LMA without trading asik

Howard Aldrich and parsons would be the best frontcourt in my opinion. Maybe the Grizzles would be equal that's it.

Getting LMA was #1 on my wish list before it became likely Dwight would leave the Lakers.

The question is do the Rockets want to (or can they) offer enough to get LMA because several teams will line up at the Blazers's door.

I'm not even going to think about the possibility of that team because it can only lead to disappointment.

Rockets would have to give up Parsons and more to get LMA.

    Who'd be our centerpiece here?

    Omer Asik
    Thomas Robinson (Aldridge replacement)
    Draft picks (??)
    Jones OR Motiejunas

    Bucher lol

Anyway, I think it would have to be a three team deal as Portland will want to get younger and LMA is only one year older than Asik. Asik and Matthews to Cleveland, Jones/T. Thompson/Houston and Cleveland picks to Portland and LMA to Houston would be a fair deal for all sides I think.
