seriously! cut this sh** out. it's great on phones and tablets..but when i am driving i dont want to look for buttons hidden in menus!
Your technically not supposed to use the touch screen while driving. Only when you are stopped you should be tinkering with the touch screen. If a vehicle has touchscreen then more than likely it has steering wheel buttons. Those are meant to be used while driving. The buttons on the wheel are buttons that you will most likely use while driving such as volume control or changing to next station/song.
Should get the hands free version...voice activated...hut hut... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/SkxG3DdIJM0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Lots of people are griping about the lack of buttons in various models. Cadillac and Ford owners, for example. Hell, Ford is adding buttons back to their MyTouch after all the b****ing : http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/23/automobiles/ford-brings-back-the-dial.html?ref=automobiles&_r=1&
I assumed it would be about the fact that we should know better than to arm people with these things. I am teh confuse.

Mine has a touch screen for everything including the AC. There are no steering wheel buttons for the AC. There is a voice command for everything but you must say the words in the correct order. Is it play cd or cd play? It's usually the one that makes less sense like in this case it's the latter. And if you get it wrong, you get that awesome help computer. Next thing you know, you are calling the parents when you just wanted to turn down the AC. And you can't control anything until the car nav has completed the initial startup cycle when you first get in. They can be a pain if they are over used.
