There is a %50 chance that Dwight Howard thinks about playing for Houston? I like to think it's a %100 that he thinks about it but it's about %0 he does it.
Really? A 0% chance? Why do you think that? He can get the most take home money in Houston and he'd be on the best team possible.....I'd think it would be a lot higher than 0%, especially now that it looks like CP3 is staying on the Clippers.
I agree 100%, it seems as if everytime I look around Kevin Durant is in a commercial and he's in tiny OKC
Durant made 5 million more dollars in endorsement money in OKC than Chris Paul made in LA. A long time ago market size might have mattered, but now it's all about being on a good team and winning. A star in the smallest market on a contender will make more than a star in the biggest market on a loser.

looks like no more CP3 now that doc is going to the clipper, so we might as well start shopping for another star PG
Or how about we sign Dwight and use the point guard we already have so we don't have to gut the roster for another star?
You're missing the fact that Durant is probably the most liked super star in the NBA. That has a lot to do with it.
It's not that he was "the holy grail", but more so the fact that CP3 is a bonafide superstar. And JLin is a bonafide average PG. I understand that people love the Rocket's guys, and everyone has their favorite players, but some people on this site are willing to shun getting better just because "Hey, I like that guy". We've had some of the same arguments about Chandler Parsons, and I mean C'MON, it's Jeremy Lin! Anyone who can't honestly admit that there are at least 10 point guard's they would rather have than him are blind and are truly only fans of Jeremy Lin....(aka LOF)
Winning is what gets you the endorsements. Being well liked isn't as important as being a winner. (See Tiger Woods, Michael Vick, Mike Tyson, the list goes on and on)
Was there actually a contingent of people who were AGAINST CP3 coming because they'd RATHER have JLin? I guess a few, but that's gross lol. That is a little different from having a group of people who just want Lin dropped or replaced by anyone for any reason. That makes equally little sense to me.
If those so-called "LOFs" are truly Lin only fans, they would probably wish Rockets to trade Lin so he won't be the fourth option at best behind Harden, Howard, and Parsons.
You get superstars when they are available. If another elite talent becomes available you gladly offer role players for them like Asik and Lin.
