The funny thing is that the whole "Is she mixed?" thing seems to come up with women. Is Derrick Rose mixed? No one cares really it comes up a few times, but if there was a black woman his same skin tone someone just may go and figure she's mixed and usually I always hear this "She must be mixed." thing with black women because some non-black person figures them attractive. Yall dudes keep popping up in this thread saying this ****. "She must not be black, she looks good!" How can you tell they have plastic surgery? Which girls are you talking about in this thread then? Most black people that DO get nose surgery, it ends up looking pretty terrible...see the Jackson Family... Yes they are, and I'm not going to post pictures of them on a forum for obvious reasons. Latino people actually do have thin noses and lips usually, the main thing that usually separates them aesthetically from european people is more melanin so darker skin, brown eyes and black hair....some 'hispanic' people are basically just white people who were born in a spanish country, speak spanish, etc. What I'm not denying is that 'European' features (which some came from africa) are seen as more attractive. What I'm denying is that the women in the thread aren't black because you say so. Because her skin is too light, or her nose is too straight, that's just not true. The fact that most black people are mixed from way back in America should be enough to tell you that even if thin noses and thin lips were exclusively european (and of course it's not) that it's possible that there would be some black folk born with those features. And since the image of beauty is that of a european for most of the world...then who are going to be the women that are promoted? Who are going to be the women that get acting roles etc? Those are the women that most know to be beautiful (the models and actresses) so those are the women they come up with.
Of course there are black people with smaller noses or lips. But if you wanna break it down, it wouldn't be surprising if these black people have european or native american ancestry. I never said all the girls looked white. 1 of them looked like dark white girl, the other one looked like a latina. The rest had noticable nose jobs. If you can spot them on white girls, you can spot a nose job on a black girl. The first girl, the ones in the first response i gave in the last page and the news reporter have nose jobs dude. And latino people can be anything. Theres black latinos. Another thing these girls could have mixed like Zoe Saldana for example. Except shes more obvious. But, you're starting to be a nagger. So let's just enjoy these girls. Geez, bet you call Obama YOUR president just bc he looks black. Don't matter if they're mixed. If they look black, they're BLACK!

Err yes, That's what I've been saying. You never said all but you said that every time you get shown a hot black girl you assume that she's either mixed or had plastic surgery. Zoe herself says she's black multiple times. But yes there are black latinos, of course. Lol no, I'm not the biggest fan of Obama anyways but irregardless. Race is a social construct, it's sort of true. If someone looks black in america they will be black, you may not like that but that is the truth of it. That's why women like Halle Berry claims to be black because that's how the world sees her. What is "Black" in america is it's own topic, but it seems that people sure like to put black people in a box. "Must have big nose, lips, be really dark!" and that's black to them. Fair enough. No she just says she's black. Black people can also speak fluent spanish. Slaves were bought to the Caribbeans and of course South America. Any ways, maybe she is mixed and maybe she just reps black because she can get roles like playing Nina Simone and other black women roles...or maybe she's just black as she claims and most of her family is black and she grew up around black people and that's just what she knows. Either way she claims being black and there are plenty of black latino people from where her family is from. She can claim being Latina and Black at the same time though of course. Just like Al Horford could or Trevor Ariza could as well. No one ever questions if they are black or not. It's more than annoying. Nearly every 3-4 pages someone comes in here saying that it feels like. The thing is though that Africa is the cradle of humanity, there are tribes with varying features throughout Africa. There is something that aesthetically separates races, like the eyes you mention or if someone has red hair and green eyes then their likely Caucasian. Black people is usually the hair or skin of course, even a light light black person has a different tone then a white person. I guess my point is...it's nothing wrong with saying "Oh she looks great because her lighter tone and smaller lips and nose." That's whatever, that's the standard of beauty that the world has conformed to. But it's different then going "Oh man, she has to be mixed because she looks great!" The latter I'm not accusing you of, but the latter is the problem because it assumes that had she been black then she wouldn't be attractive. Any ways black folk from America look different than black folk from Brazil, so there's been a lot of mixing going on regardless. I just feel like some people every time a black woman is seen as beautiful they try to make her seem less black. That's why I continue to haunt this thread...and occasionally post pictures of course...

So are most black people in america though (are mixed)... Also, how do you know that most of her family is not black? From even her mother's side? That is also why some of these people end up looking more black than anything because they actually are. Also Obama always looked like a mixed person to me...but since he's half black, his wife is black, their children are black. They couldn't even pass as mixed anymore really (although I'm sure if they grow up looking like 10s people will be sure to point out that they have white in them...)That could be the same thing that goes on with Zoe, that her extended family is mostly black and that's why she claims it. But she doesn't claim to be mulatto, like Alicia Keys or Mariah does or Tiger Woods. She just claims to be black.
