Those are child play next to punching a teammate in the face for actually trying hard at practice.

I'd root for Stockton and Malone and Pippen before rooting for KG. That guy is a disgrace to sportsmanship on the court. It's not Barkley throwing someone through the window at a bar or MJ gambling on his own time. It's actually in the course of the game, at practice, etc. a disgrace, someone I hope my kids never look up to or become like.

Yes, but that's not how they do things in SA.

KG and Duncan really do have a lot of history - maybe more than you're willing to give credit. I think KG is the only player Duncan does not like in the whole NBA. Duncan is the face of the franchise and if they would make the move towards an obvious "win one last time" way, management would check with Duncan. Duncan would not approve.

Well, then... Pierce to the Spurs?

Now THAT is something I had been thinking about. Pierce would be great over there. But it would only happen if they really do blow it up in Boston -- which, Doc to the Clips is really the only indication we really need to confirm that they are indeed blowing it up.

Clippers get Doc Rivers. That means CP3 will stay with Clippers. This also reduces the chance that Dwight will come to Houston. Houston, even with Dwight, will not be a title contender.

I think Dod is the only coach that could actually make Blake Griffin worth more than a poster...

So I hope this falls through again.

With what logic did you come up with that scenario? Lakers aren't sign and trading Dwight to Clippers. And Rockets with Dwight is a title contender. You have 2 top 10 players, that's a contender.

For one, it would t be just Dwight. If the Rockets get Dwight they will either land another big fish (ala Josh Smith) or smartly fill out the roster with veterans while preserving cap space.

For two, the idea that the Clips are title contenders just because they switched coaches is dumb. Have Docs teams been overachieving or anything? He's a good coach. He's not Phil Jackson.

The Rockets will Dwight automatically become at least 3rd most likely to make it out of the West. That's not great, but wih tweaks, if SA goes backward, and by next year they very well could compete with OkC year in and year out for best in the west. The. Just take down Miami. Which is hard but Harden/Dwight is exactly the type of start you need - get the other team in foul trouble, Dwight to clog the lane, etc.

False, we would be a top 3 team in the West. Harden needs Dwight like Dwight needs Harden. Dwight's deficiencies are Harden's strengths and Harden's deficiencies are Dwight's strengths. Not to mention, they actually compliment each other better than any two players paired in the league right now.

They are just two players, but you're talking about two top 2 players at their position.

HOU was a 45 win team last season-- and did better in terms of point differential. It was a young team so will likely do better next season even without adding a major piece given that young and inexperienced players tend to improve. The team can land Dwight Howard without while keeping essentially all of its regular rotation guys.

The Rockets with Dwight, even without too many other changes, can easily be a 55+win or perhaps a 60+win team team, which is what an "contender" looks like.

Jordan has punched out at least two teammates in practice - Steve Kerr and Will Perdue.

    Totally untrue.

Lakers won't deal with Clips, and Clips won't deal Griffin.

Also, Harden is a Top 3, maybe Top 2 SG and Dwight is the Top Center. Parsons is the probably the best non-star SF. They would easily be a contender. Heat's worst nightmare.
