This trade was done to make cp3 happy, cp3 no river bye..... I think houston has to look into sign n trade for josh smith to help sell comin to houston with him and smith.... Lin and Asik for josh smith. Chis Paul told clips, get rivers , then I resign, no rivers me bye bye.
I have this idea, which might happen. KG to Clippers. DeAndre Jordan to Boston Blake Griffin & Eric B to Lakers Dwight to Clippers Josh Smith to Houston AIv2 to Houston Write it down.
What's so great about Doc Rivers? Why is he considered such a great coach? As far as I can recall, the last time they won a championship it was due to Thibs being an overqualified assistant coach. He pretty much came up with the whole defensive game plan to stop Kobe.
Things are lining up for dwight to clipps. you think this puts them ahead of us in his eyes? I think so. I think we may not be his first choice, and we don't have to be as long as his other options fall through. i think the clippers will be his first choice. griffin and bledsoe would be a serious offer, and it will depend on how the lakers feel about sending him to the clippers and making them a super team while the lakers miss the playoffs. of course the clippers package would be FAR better than letting dwight sign with the rockets for nothing in return, but would it be worth being the second best team in LA for the next 5 years? if i were running the lakers, i'd do that trade, but knowing the laker's pride, they may refuse to help the clipps and let dwight go to the rockets.

To Bima Wondering want kind of deal would houston to make to acquire Garnett and Paul pierce.... I think Garnett would consider playing for houston if he can team with pierce harden Howard, and Mchale as coach...
If Dwight could hardly handle the pressure last season being a Laker, what makes you think he would want to be a Clipper? He would get booed during home games all the time. And with his soft skin, he would have a mental breakdown.
Woj: Boston has to make a decision on Pierce. Less likely they buy Pierce out. More likely they'll find a team that they can do a trade with and get something back. KG will be the interesting one. Where he'll go, if anywhere, is limited. He may decide one more year and I'll retire a Celtic. He could make it difficult for Boston to move him. Does this guarantee Paul is back? It does. He's made it clear that he kept pushing behind the scenes to get this done. He made it clear, its been made clear to Doc & the Clippers that securing Doc would be enough to keep him. All indications are he'll re-sign in early July. We'll see if there are other things they can do with that roster. Doc just coach or a measure of personnel control too? Nobody has control with the Clippers. That's what Doc will find out. Whatever you want to do, you're at the mercy of [Sterling's] mood, him looking at the financials of a deal, that's the biggest risk for Doc. Looks great on the surface but to win championships, you need a certain culture, commitment from ownership to get it done. Doc won't change that. KG won't change that. The Clippers dysfunction is bigger than all of that. I think they'll have success and win games, but the track record there is what it is and it'll be hard to overcome all of that(even with Doc). (If this were to somehow fall apart) I don't think Doc is giving up $7 million. He's taking a $5 million pay cut if he walks to TV. If it fell apart, he'd maybe have to work out a buyout.

Overly Optimistic!!! Maybe so, but I'm sure D12 is tired of being the only one to have to carry the defensive load( KG would not let that happen). What happen in L.A. this year with the great expectations of him even though he was playing hurt showed him that no cares if you are smiling! Fans want W's at all cost. I think he wants to win to but needs vet who has won to hold him accountable. Kobe tried but he has never been much of a leader. KG on the other bonds with his teammates like brothers and think that can be contaigous.
To me trading Jordan could be seen as a long term salary dump from the clippers point of view. The Chris Paul trade thing was a different ball of wax since it league run team was a part of the deal. The P.A and the owners would both be pissed if a deal for Kg on its own was blocked.
Wondering want move can houston of set the rivers to clips to help them in the Dwight sweepstakes, would Howard be impress with josh smith or Kevin Garnett, cause it look like nba is going to block any deal that the clippers and celtics that has Garnett to pierce or both clips... Josh smith could make about 16.6 million in a sign n trade to play in houston Howard and harden...

Clippers are still IMO the most overrated team in the league, they won't win a championship as is. But this makes another big deal look likely although I don't see Dwight going to the clippers
Maybe KG would like to go out in a blaze of glory with McHale, the man who drafted him. Would be an upgrade at the 4. Maybe teach Moti and TJ a trick or two...
