no way pp and kg stay in boston now. Either they will send both to 1 team or individual trades. As bima said they will save money if pp is bought out so i guess we are about to see who the buyers in the nba are.

I would bet money KG would waive trade clause to compete with Mchale for a ring

Wonder how Byron Scott is feeling right now. What happens if the NBA somehow nixes Doc going to the Clips.

I think it's a push. Mchale Drafted him and tought him everything he knows.
I still thing Howard would come here to and for less money.

Plus it would be KG, Rondo, Harden, and Maybe Howard. That trumps the Clippers to me.

Rivers told the Clippers that he was no longer interested in the position on Friday, but pressure from the franchise's star player, Chris Paul, stayed strong on Clippers management over the weekend and Los Angeles reconsidered its unwillingness to give Boston a first-round pick, sources said. It would be difficult to be in the NBA with these choices. (no need for "Really, they are millionaires, dont feel bad, god, ok" ) < I understand that.

So Doc to Clippers is nearly done. Which essentially means CP3 is staying in LA. That's one marquee free agents out. Wonder if CP3 is still going to hear other teams' pitches before resigning with the Clippers.

I'm still not convinced that the Clippers are going to be a powerhouse Western conference team up there with Spurs, Thunder, and Grizzles. I think it is absolutely crucial now to get Dwight to Houston, so we can get KG and Pierce to come in and provide the leadership, experience, and depth.

pretty sure doc wouldn't sign a contract there unless he got a guarantee that paul will be resigning.

also pretty sure that even the clippers aren't dumb enough to give up a pick and sign an expensive coach unless they have a guarantee from paul.

when this is made official you can pretty much squash the idea of paul leaving.

An unprotected #1 in 2015 for Rivers?? Damn, that pick is golden. All it takes is a key injury in Clipperland and up goes that sucker. So yeah, Boston makes out like a bandit, if this is true.

Not sure if overly optimistic or delusional. Why would the Celtics trade Rondo if the problem was between Rondo/Doc, and now Doc is gone? What makes you think Dwight is 'actually getting beyond the clowning'? What has he shown to make ANYONE believe that for even a second?
