    You are the definition of a troll. Why you are still here is a mystery to me.

    That's a good point. And if you think Lowry and McHale didn't get along, I shudder to think how bad it can get with CP3.

    Then again it would be fun to see either way. So much potential for success... and likewise for failure.

    Lowry didn't "get along" because he didn't get his starting job back from injury immediately from Dragic. He expected it back, didn't earn it back, didn't get it back, and then sulked.

    Rockets do not need a pg of Pauls caliber in order to compete for a championship. They need an even more improved Lin, Beverly & there are other good free agents available that can help this team.

    we don't need cp3...only howard...lin and bev are adequate enough...plus cp3 has had knee issues in his career...he also fizzles out in the playoffs with nagging injuries.

    If CP3 can come to Houston, it's no problem D12 will join Rockets;
    If Cp3 stay in LA, it's 50% chance that D12 will consider to join Rockets;
    Why don't we bring them together to Houston?

    Because it's not a fantasy, and you are free to leave anytime you want. Don't let the door hit you on your way out.

    Whew! Thank goodness! I was beginning to worry we might be getting carried away again by speculating on a fan forum site. I'm so glad you're here to keep us grounded and reminded every few posts that CP3 just can't sign in Houston and if he did the universe just might collapse on itself. We should all be thankful to have you remind us that speculating isn't allowed here per the forum rules and code of conduct.

    Thanks Harden Man! your insight, logic, and ethical compass has saved the day yet again!

    Well just in .. Rivers & LAC are back on again!!! And are pretty much finalizing the deal to bring rivers to LA.. So that is definitely keeping CP3 in LA

    Doesn't really hurt the Rockets pursuit of Dwight Howard. Paul was always a long shot. I wouldn't 100% assume Paul resigns, although it is more likely.

    Yeah the Clippers are soooo awesome....The main reason that CP3 is unlikely to sign with the Rockets is because they don't have the cap space for both Howard and CP3 and they are more interested in adding Howard because he'd help the current team a lot more than CP3 would.

    Just out of curiosity, do you know what basketball player led the league in endorsements? Lebron James who plays in tiny Miami. Winning is what really gets you the big endorsement dollars, not what market you happen to play in.

    Oh yeah for sure. I don't believe Howard is going to LAC. I fully believe if he doesn't resign with LA that he will go to HOU. I'm just saying that in my opinion whatever small chance HOU had at bringing CP3 over are pretty much over. CP3 was supposedly pushing for the Rivers signing this weekend ..

    I would lol if CP3 pulls a Lebron and gets the team to get hope when they get a new coach and then bolts anyway, but seeing as it's Doc Rivers I doubt it

    I believe that Paul is out to recruit Dwight to join the Clippers but I am having a lot of trouble seeing why Dwight would do such a thing like that. If he went from the Lakers to the Clippers, he's not only going to be hated in the nation like he already is but also in the city he's going to be playing for! This dude is sensitive to media criticism, I think he should think twice before joining the Clippers. This is like going from Manchester United to Manchester City. One of their player is being driven out of town by the fans.

    It would require the Lakers to do a sign and trade that they'd never do. Everyone knows that Lakers fans are the ultimate bandwagon fans, if the Lakers set up the Clippers to dominate them in their own building for the next several years they'd lose almost their entire fanbase. The Lakers will let Howard walk for nothing and use the "savings" once all of their awful contracts are up in FA. There's no way they set up the Clippers to be the best team in LA.

    If Dwight goes to the Clippers (S&T for Blake/Bledsoe), it's Paul, Dwight, KG(probably), Pierce(probably), Butler, Crawford, possibly Billups and minimum salaries.

    If Dwight walks to the Rox it's Harden/Dwight/Parsons/Lin/Asik/TJones/DMo/Beverley and minimum salaries.

    I'm not sure if that Clippers team is better than that Rox team now and in one year when Garnett/Pierce are either retired or another year older I'm pretty sure that Rox bunch would be better.

    The other thing about the Celts deal...I feel like if they get Doc and KG that they have already got Paul to agree not to push them for Dwight. I think they may possible try to get Afflalo with Paul, Pierce, KG, Blake but that's about it.

    I agree w/ this assessment. I don't even think the KG/PPierce thing will happen though, since Stern seems adamant that allowing it would be circumventing the rules. I will be surprised now if Rivers and KG both end up on the Clipps.

    Oh I'd take Harden/ Howard/ Parsons/ Asik over

    CP3
    Griffin
    Garnett
    Pierce

    HOU is younger and more athletic for 1

    2.. There is no guarantee Pierce joins LAC. I have heard rumors that the CAVS have offered a couple draft pics for Pierce, as well as DAL and HOU being interested, AS WELL as Celyics resigning him
