Nice. Reminds me a bit of Steve Smith... How's his defense?

I'd be thrilled w/ Adetokunbo. One of his teammates says he could be the next Kevin Durant.

Well, draft express has Glen Rice Jr falling to the Rockets with the 34th pick. I would be extremely happy if the Rockets were to land him. I think his D-league experience makes him more pro ready and McHale would probably play him immediately. Plus the kid can ball.

This. That pick was gone no matter who it was. Donte breaking the SL scoring record probably helped things, actually.

Actually, I think Donte Greene dominating summer league WAS the reason the Rockets got Artest. I think both Greene and Jeremy Lamb (as opposed to Rudy Gay and Nicolas Batum) were drafted by the Rockets TO PLAY FOR THE ROCKETS. It was only when more beneficial trades were available that those guys were dealt.

And for the record, I was thrilled with the selection of Greene at #28. I think if he had a better organization than the Kings to develop him (without other high lottery picks in front of him), he would have had a much better career to date.

Hopefully Rockets can pick up multiple foreign players that's on their radar with their first and second round picks.

Yeah, I just checked out some of his film for the first time and boy am I impressed. Love the long arms and the incredible speed. He's got an NBA game. If he can cut down the TOs he's gonna be a nice prospect. Looks like he's gonna have to improve his transition game quite a bit, but seems to have a decent jump shot.

I would be pretty happy if he was the pick.

so now houston can offer dwight a little over $19mil...this should be enough for howard to be satisfied with the money for houston since it will take royce white being moved for howard to get his $20.5mil max which is gonna be hard to do....only thing now is to convince howard to come.

Releasing Greg Smith is a possibility too.

We might not know until draft night whether the Rockets have a trade lined up, and we might not find out until another team drafts who Morey wants.

That would only free up about 350K worth of cap space though. Sort of pointless.
