Yahoo News Goes “Birther”, Incorrectly Cites Country Of Obama’s Birth, Hilarity And Outrage Ensue Twitchy notes that this was likely a simple mistake, as the author, Rachel Hartman, had previously criticized “birtherism” in an article in 2011. But that didn’t stop the mad rush by outraged Obamabots to condemn Hartman and demand her firing for her “hatred, bigotry”. The inability to parse or be able to calm themselves is quite the sight. http://twitchy.com/2013/06/21/twitter-mob-calls-for-head-of-yahoo-news-birther-white-house-reporter/
The writer probably meant to write "country of his ancestry" -- a simple miscue that looks like it will be blown out of proportion. His mother was an American citizen so his actual birth place is a moot point. Let's focus on his ultra-poor performance as an American president.
To be fair, I have no idea who Hartman is, no it's not like someone would necessarily know that she didn't believe in that sort of stuff. Still, lady should have had a couple of people proofread for her.
Funny, coming from the guy who rushes here every time he finds a potential anti-Obama article and posts it, despite how often they turn out to be duds.
Don't pick on him. It makes perfect sense if you believe God is a heterosexual white man that's timid about human sexuality.
How many cents per click/view does one get for that volume? Digital panhandling seems like a great model for aspiring young conservatives with ample time to spend.
No hate. Just disagree with homosexual acts being natural. America will do what it will and you are all entitled to your view about it.
I've never denied anyone the right to love someone. I believe homosexual acts are unnatural. They can love each other all they want and they can be sexually active if they so choose. I just believe the act is unnatural.
People rubbing body parts on other people's body parts because it feels good is unnatural? I think you have your definition of natural and unnatural backwards. A more cerebral choice not to not succumb to base instinct is probably more un-natural. We are animals, evolving into something not animal; but naturally, we're animals. Squirt, hmmmmm, zzzzz
This "birther" obfuscation is clearly meant to divert our attention to what we should be discussing -- Obama's waste of $100M -- a tenth of a billion dollars -- so he can take his family and political supporters on a lavish tour of Africa. I still believe this is a prelude to seeking an almost permanent position of Secretary-General of the United Nations, a position he can use to torpedo democracy all over the world. I wonder how much cash he is stuffing in the pockets of dictators across Africa.
