Anybody have some new ideas or formats for us to draft with so we can keep things fresh? I liked how we did that 1st round of HOFers and then rest current players draft but next time we shouldn't have conferences. Anyways it's way too soon to do that type of draft again so let throw out different ideas if you have any.
What about age restrictions like a 25 and under league? 25 and over? Or maybe a 12mil salary and under league.
We could do by draft years like all 90s draft vs all new era drafts.. I.e. 1985-1999 vs 2000-2013 draft years Maybe split or have it full drafted w/in 1985-2013 players prime draft MJ vs Lebron
haha. nah man, you did a great job. just keep doing what you did and end the round when ready. last autumn we had a semi-finals matchup that ended 1-0 and it was a poll too.
I think the fail is that you guys always start the draft prematurely. Draft thread is up for under a day and it's like "We have 12, let's start it now!!!!!!!", even when everyone knows twelve players will result in stupid super teams and judging becomes impossible. Same when we are not even finished with a draft and there's already talk about the next one, it becomes boring when you follow that pattern and we have multiple drafts in a short time span. And don't get me started with changing rules during the draft, it's bullsh!t.
That's a rule that wouldn't have hurt anyone and no one was against it. Not the shady **** that happenend in the previous draft and without asking people.
Anyway, i'm not sure how many votes are in, but in case there's a 0-0 situation, my picks: Red, Torque, Jamers. I don't really have time / willpower to look and explain in depth atm. I might vote in more depth in the finals.
