No Not really.....Paul would not want to play next to Harden and why would you want him to? DO you think all of a sudden Harden is going to be willing to give up the rock? That all of a sudden his stats wont matter anymore? Paul is a bad fit and I'm guessing the Rockets know this.

Lin stays and they develop this young team. They attempt to get Howard and maybe it happens but likely sign a 4 thats good....they have money to trash around....

Paul not coming and to think he is is silly........

to think the Rockets won't go after him if they feel they have a chance... is silly

for you to be so certain that he's not coming makes you seem really illogical.

we know dwight wants to play with him given the chance, and i'm sure if cp3 and howard joined him, harden wouldn't mind giving up the ball if it means more wins...

yeah if cp3 doesn't come, lin will have to improve big time, but to say that he's definitely out the equation just means you haven't been paying attn to what rockets personnel have been saying

Morey made it clear that he was going after big free agent names, and he didn't mean just dwight.

i don't get why you're so against this (LOF?), but you do understand the league is turning to an amalgamaton of super teams, so why should we not be able to jump on this chance too, if it means bringing titles here?

Gotta love Mario, wish I knew how he's doing as an assistant because so far he's bounced from place to place and nobody really mentioning him. We should bring him over since!

Does Elie know the Spurs have the cap space though, cause let's be real, if you had a chance between the Spurs and the Rockets, what would you do? You've seen the bright future of the youngsters, they have been more successful as a franchise, Parker and Pop are there and Duncan will be there for a few more years. Since his contract will be 4 years, he doesn't have to worry too much about them leaving.

Man you are one of the few posters on here that makes me wish I had the ignore option. You're like a broken record, when people aren't even talking about CP3 you say the same thing over and over. You're like the awkward kid at the table. Everyone's talking about something and you jump in with "Hey CP3's not coming and it's silly to think so. Lin's going to be the PG of the future". Great thanks for that wonderful pearl of insight. Plus you're just making a statement of what you believe to be true and invalidating any other POV on the basis that you think it's silly to think otherwise. That just makes people think you have no idea what you're talking about.

Great we get it, you can stop the trolling now.

Paul isn't likely but if the Rockets plan on taking down the Heat we will need a much better PG then Lin. We can't him losing the ball and making bad decisions in big games.

False. cyberx's initial thread was posted on May 9.

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=238488

Rudolph on May 5, four days earlier:

@JRudolphSports on if Dwight doesn't return to #Lakers (w/o hesitation): He'll end up with #Rockets--"I'll put the house on Houston".

    http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=213610

Along with every other voice in the national media. It wasn't about the lifestyle. It wasn't Fegan trying to steer Dwight away. Dwight himself had no interest in Houston because the roster sucked, and he wanted to contend for a title. LA was the Vegas favorite from the outset.

Because Houston only has cap room at the moment for one, genius. And the Clippers have a better roster than the Lakers.

He seldom claims 100% because if he's wrong, he then has complete deniability and his worshipers can go on loving him. It's called covering your ass. He's good at it. I'm not saying I don't appreciate the information. I'm not telling him not to post. I'm not calling for him to be banned. Those are strawman arguments a few of you have crafted yourselves.

I'm simply saying that like any other source, his information is subject to being dissected, and in this case, it doesn't pass the smell test. Just because you post information you may have heard doesn't make you immune to a review of its merits. That's what a message board is for.

    Oh ****ing please.

I'd buy that in the Indiana series -- when they never trailed, always won by double digits when Indiana had a chance to take a series lead, etc.

They were trying in Game 5, and they knew the stakes if they gave the Spurs two chances to close them out. Spurs won by double digits. They were trying in Game 6, and it took an all-time unforced meltdown for the Heat to survive. They were trying in Game 7, and the Spurs were a Tim Duncan layup from tying the game in the last minute.

The idea that the Heat can just turn it on at will and blow anyone away is hogwash. That was the case against starless Indiana, certainly. But they met their match in San Antonio and it was basically a coin-flip series. Anything else is revisionist history.

This is the key. Just don't take everything he says as gospel. Agents are known to leak bad information and teams leak bad information to them.

Remember when he said Chandler Parsons was about to get paid? He was clearly saying this year but when he got busted on the fact that the Rockets couldn't do anything with Chandler yet he said "Never said WHEN he was going to paid." Remember when he said Morey didn't like McHale? All evidence, including reporting from WOJ, to the contrary.

Just take his information as one piece of a convoluted puzzle that is full of people who make stuff up, get fed bad info, have a bias, etc. There is not one person who can give us the whole truth on anything. Just remember that.

It's weird to make two "I agree with The Cat" posts in a row, but I agree. The Heat were taken all the way to the brink by the Spurs up through Game 6. They were not leaps and bounds better than them. I am supremely confident that a well put together team can knock off the Heat.

The Heat's window is already closing. We battle-fighted with them as is this past season.

Based on recent posting history, I feel as if you should change your name to "The Dissenter"... or maybe a clever play on the word like "Dissentery".

I tend to think that Dwight has saturated the market with misinformation to deal with the leaks, as its the most logical method to kill them after some leaks had occurred, at this point in time, things pointing Dwight to any and every direction

Golden state, then Cleveland and SA, then supposedly momentum back to the lakers on the same day he was at hospital while his gf was giving birth (doesn't that last one sound really odd on the priority list?).

Dwight, more than any other basketball player I can remember, really seems to enjoy using the media to get information out. It's bizarre really.
