He's worth a look if we strikeout with Dwight; but I agree, arguing that we're "better off" with Bynum is a farce.

That said, somebody will take a gamble on Bynum and offer him significant money.

The only thing he would get from me is a one-year deal just to prove that his knees can hold up with the idea being we could split his minutes with Asik and basically "coast" him through the regular season to save for the playoffs. Not exactly a conventional strategy, I know, but that's when we would need him the most.

No, he's not. Same with Cousins. The clock isn't ticking. The Rockets can afford to wait a year if they have to. Both of those guys have too many question marks to give them big contracts. Let some other team screw up their cap in desperation, only to regret it for the next four years.

Cousins is a much safer bet than Bynum is.

And regardless, no the clock isn't necessarily ticking, but we both know that this team needs a star 4 or 5 that can score and draw doubles. We aren't going to win a championship running spread PnR's.

He wasn't fully ready to go his last season in LA. Still averaged 17 and 12. I'll take it.

Yes, i see the light now. Oden has rarely ever played. Bynum was dominant on bad knees. He was damn near unstoppable.

One and a half season at best as the second best center with Gasol and Kobe helping him. The thing with your evaluation is you always look at the bright side. He is a punk, a dirty player. I do not like that guy at all.

I thought we were supposed to look at things in a positive light? Yes, you are right, he is a punk and a hothead. Maybe this team needs his fire. Also, i doubt he would act out here, being his new team and all.
