When Leonard was coming out of San Diego State, there was some concern about his ball handling skills and shooting from beyond the arc. They thought that he would need to convert to a SG in the NBA because he is only 6'6", but he played forward in college. So from that respect, they considered him an in-betweener and undersized for the 3 spot. The Spurs had him at SG at first last season when Ginobili went down with injury, but he eventually moved over to his more comfortable SF position and is clearly showing that he does not play undersized for that spot in the NBA. The Pacers still drafted him at 15 and traded him to the Spurs who always seem to take advantage of these players deemed in-betweeners and get the most out of them...like Dejuan Blair before he entered the dog house.

I think Parsons will become a really good role player on either the Rockets or another team. Kawhi Leonard will probably be an all star at some point in his career...not a perrenial all-star, but a guy that makes it one or two times. Some ESPN writers are comparing him to Scottie Pippen...I think that's a little bit far fetched, but he certainly has the athleticism to compete at the highest of levels. So that said, I'd take Leonard over Parsons.

    I agree

being 'Undersized' is a negative when it effects your game. When you can grab 10 boards in a half and you have absolutely NO problem guarding 6'8" Lebron James nor any issues scoring in the paint... you can't use the word 'undersized' in a negative aspect as it makes no difference.

Saying that, 6'6" for his position isn't THAT undersized either way

I'd take Leonard over Parsons in a heartbeat

I can assure you the Spurs wouldn't trade him for anyone on the Rockets not named Harden.

I will go with leonard, but it must be nice playing for the best organization in the world. Having a big three and the best coach must do wonders for his game. Making it all the way to the finals will also make you the chosen one.

I don't think they have the same skill set at all other than both being able to hit the 3 ball. Parsons is more of a playmaker while Leonard is a much more physical player on both ends. Both look great

This is what I'm thinking. Leonard benefits playing with veteran super star players. I'd like to see how he does without them. Carry on fellas.
