    Does anyone think the Celtics will look to move Rondo? I know they are going to go through a rebuilding by trading KG & potentially Pierce (a year too late IMO) but I don't see why they wouldn't just keep Rondo during their rebuild. Are they thinking of going into tank mode?

    Are there any reports out there that they may at least look at some offers for Rondo and see what they can get? If so, he would be a prime target for Morey if he ever truly becomes available but we would definitly need some other's team assets like t0mdotcom presented in order to get the Celtics to even think about parting with Rondo.

    uhh....Moultrie and Turner for a top 10 center is a pretty good deal. I actually think Philly comes out the best in this trade.

    Do you think you might be overrating Evan Turner and underrating Omer Asik?

    Rondo is interesting to me. It would almost be like we were reproducing the Spurs:

    Parker -> Rondo
    Ginobli -> Harden
    Leonard -> Parsons
    Duncan -> Dwight

    Rondo/Harden/Parsons' games are amazing similar to Parker/Ginobli/Leonard. Duncan/Dwight not so much, but that could be worked through. Surround them with some quality roll players and you've got Spurs v2.

    Are we sure we want Rondo's 24% 3pt? Maybe we can change our style once we land Howard.

    My bad Tom... I'm not comparing player to player. I just think Bynum may stay in Philly _ and if he does, they may not need Asik because they already have a good backup.

    But on the other end of the spectrum _ how healthy is Rondo and what type of player will he be when he comes back from his injury...

    Offensively, Duncan and Howard are on totally different worlds. Same for Parker and Rondo. We may as well stick with Lin... Rondo had a lot of weapons around him that allowed him to excel. Lin would probably do the same in the same situation.

    I see what you mean, but rondo only attempted 1.3 a game. I think we could sign a really good 3 point shooter for a decent contract.

    All good man. As far as Rondo goes...high risk/ high reward. Morey will roll the dice on an AllStar.

    I think that Rondo is an upgarde over Lin, first off, and I know Morey Loved him some Rondo . I can see Morey checking on Rondo/Celts status.....but as I stated in another thread.....

    We get Howard then....

    Houston out: Asik/T-Jones
    Houston In: Josh Smith

    Atlanta In: Asik/ T-Jones
    Atlanta out:Josh Smith

    **I think Monta Ellis Goes to Atlanta to jump-start his career again.**

    Lin
    Harden
    Parsons
    J.Smoove
    Howard

    Now After that I can see Lin being shipped out to the Celts or any team that needs a marketable/high upside player for a shot at Rondo..

    Rondo
    Harden
    Parsons
    J.Smith
    Howard

    Championships.....Not 1.....Not 2.......Not 3........!!

    I actually don't think Rondo is that GREAT... I think shooters like Paul, KG, and Ray helped him a lot. I also don't believe Boston has any intentions on moving Rondo. It seems to me Doc doesn't want to be there because of Rondo and Boston is making a choice between the two. And if Rondo doesn't get along with Doc _ wait till he gets a load of McHale.

    Apparently Demarcus cousins wants a trade if he's not given a max deal. Maybe send Lin and asik for Demarcus
    And that way we have ample cap for a legit 4. Like millsap and prob move some pieces and make room for Chris Paul.

    Ill check the trade machine to see if the numbers match but off the top of my head it seems legit

    We can def do that move and secure decent caproom. It was saying 4 mill but it didn't account for us not having brooks delfino and our other non guaranteed contracts. I think the kings want stability and the new owner might not put up with the crap cousins is complaining about. It would be a good sign to ship him off showing that he's in control and they won't put up with threats.

    An injured Rondo that is at odds with his coach......I beg to differ ....and if bledsoe can be considered a replacement for Rondo then a starter in Lin fits the bill...

    Im not getting into the cap situation.....too much to type:rolleyes:

    On Simmon's last podcast he spoke about Josh Smith and how Ainge has tried to get him for years. Smith And Rondo are supposed to be besties... On his Twitter he linked to this video of Smith & Rondo playing together in high school.

    Sacramento will want salary relief, picks and young talent for DMC.

    SAC IN: Wesley Mathews, Meyers Leonard, Portland's 2013 1st (#10), TJones, Houston's 2014 1st
    HOU IN: Cousins, Salmons
    POR IN: Asik

    Sign Josh Smith out of Free Agency.

    Lin / Beverley
    Harden /
    Parsons / Salmons
    JSmith / DMo
    Cousins / GSmith

    Pass on Cousins.... Asik better D @ 10&10 all day, every day and just getting better as the season went on at half the cost and drama. I liked him in seasons passed but he never grew up. There are better options for less money.

    NO THANKS
