    He will. Guaranteed.

In fact, I'd say he has a higher chance then Lin!

Does the highlight video include free throws? There's gotta be free throws in a highlight video.

I think people underestimate how good of an outside shooter this kid is.

Longer, laterally quick, aggressive defender that makes the right play and knock down the big shot. Reminds of someone in that Mario Chalmers/Derek Fisher mold... Perfect compliment to a great wing and a dominant big man.

Hell, in his first season the guy shot 38% from three, and had a great rookie playoff run.

As Kevin McHale said, the sky is the limit...

    6-7 wingspan, 37 inch vertical

Hard nosed defender, efficient shooter from distance, essentially never turns the ball over. He is a perfect compliment to James Harden, and any team would love to have him. Those guys are hard to find. Perfect playoff style PG...

Lol at these idiots..."perfect playoff pointguard". Tell me, did you watch any of the games in the Rockets-OKC series? Beverly was constantly in FOUL trouble. What people need to realize is that Beverly is on par if not surpasses Greg Smith in committing stupid fouls and shifting momentum for the team. I remember a close game in the playoffs where Beverly committed two stupid fouls in the first minute of the fourth quarter causing OKC to win the game by shooting freethrows the rest of the game.

He is a rookie, right? 1 turnover a game as a rookie, right? Hmm...

Did you watch any games in the Rockets OKC series? Significant upgrade to the frightened child that was Jeremy Lin, even when he WAS healthy... It's weird to think about, but Beverly is more proven than Lin in my eyes. Intense Euroball and a playoff series with success. What has Lin done?

Here's my honest opinion - Lin is the better point guard, but Beverley is the better fit with Harden, if that makes any sense.

But with Morey as GM, neither are safe!!!

Considering he didn't handle the ball much at all, he better only have one turnover a game. Also why can't you acknowledge Beverly's problems? Beverly is consistently in foul trouble despite his lack of minutes which doesn't make him a starting point guard. Also 17 assists in 6 games despite playing 33 minutes makes him a starting point guard? Oh yeah Beverly was completely healthy for the playoffs.

    He's a great backup PG.

But if he were better than Lin, you'd see people talking about him as a valuable trade asset. Above-average point guard for less than $1M a year? Jeez, that'd probably make him our most valuable player outside Harden, Asik and Parsons. But no one is talking about that, because he isn't actually a solid above-average PG, nor he is better than Jeremy Lin.

CP3 is not coming. Beverly is not leap-frogging Lin to become our starting PG. Get used to Lin, guys.
