New Rockets Uniform Thread

I know I'm the only one that loved them, but...

Bring the Rocket logo and blue striped jerseys back!!!

I like the minimalist direction and I think you're making the most of what you have to work with BMD, but I just don't know how you get past

1) the dopey font/logo
2) the fact that every time you use red and yellow together it looks like a McDonald's commercial.

I've given up on them changing the font/logo. It makes too much sense given that it kinda looks like the Toyota symbol. Oh well.

 

I hate our current unis, like the most of you.. I can't stand thick shoulder bands, that has to go.
I am not a big fan of the ketchup and mustard either. I think we just go with the jerseys from the championship years. The best by far.

 

I like the thin yellow but the top one looks too much like Ohio State.

If we're gonna have brand new jersey designs, would you really keep that current font? At least go for the championship years font or a totally new one.

 

I'm a big fan of our current alternate (ketchup and mustard) jerseys. They should just make those the default although we know that won't happen. If that was instated, however, my only remaining gripe would be with the weak-looking "R" logo. Hope they revert back to some updated version of the classic circular one.

Also, though I'm not in love with the Rockets current jersey designs, I actually did like the grey alternates the Rockets went with against the Bulls on Christmas:


Would like to see some type of gray alternates more often.

The colors are fine I just can't stand the cut of our current jerseys. Give me back the old style jersey cut and you can put any design you want on there.

 

i Agree with everything you said! I really think we would stand out if we went with those christmas uni's as our main uni's. I liked the jerseys, perfect amount of gray/silver and shine... would be cool if they re-did these and added red trim to it.
