Cyber, what would it take for the Rockets to land Cousins? I love his game but hate his attitude, I don't know his value.
Vucevic is a favorite of the Orlando apologists, mostly because he had good rebound numbers. But rebound numbers are heavily determined by the defensive positioning a team uses. His defense rating and shot blocking are below average for a center, and his shooting is average. Congrats, Orlando, you traded Howard for a guy who can stand where defensive rebounds land.
At the end of the day the point is to build a championship caliber team or at least be able to make the playoffs and that cannot be done if you have nothing to build around or build with. If you don't have that a team will just go in circles like the Rockets have been doing until Morey lucked up with Harden. And Orlando received a young solid big man who is on his way up and now they need to find more pieces. I'm not saying they will but they have a start.
