No need to defend yourself. There's always going to be some type of haters/non-believers. We still have faith in you dude, keep it coming. Thanks again.
Don't respond to that junk. Just little kids shooting their little squirt guns. Anybody that has something positive to contribute here knows you're ok.
It's like you guys have just discovered the Internet. Keep ****ing that chicken though. It's endlessly entertaining.
I remember last year when many Rockets fans and those in the know were positive we would land Howard in the trade because the Rockets had the best trade package to offer. Turns out Orlando found a much better trade package for Howard than what the Rockets were offering _ way better. Fast forward to the present and many of the same people are back at it again assuming Houston is the best place for Howard. You guys never learn your lesson...Lol.
dont even respond to it man...I think you should just post. Answer questions from people who are worth your time. Otherwise dont defend yourself. i think you have don enough...let your supporters defend you, and your posts validate themselves. Your legit...most of us can see that.
I don't have an issue with any of the Dwight stories he brings, but come on, do you really believe that the Rockets let him go through their financials? That they showed him their international profits? Teams have been hiding those things for years. I do appreciate your dismissal of anyone who disagrees that he's an insider as being people with nothing to contribute here.
Meh, the odds have always been against Dwight coming to Houston, so I'm not going to get all rilled up if he stays in LA. We just stick with the plan.....continue to gather assets and wait for our next big opportunity. So long as we can get a 2nd star within the next two years, we're on track for a title.
Agreed. I've tried really hard not to get excited about Dwight because like you, I see the odds being stacked against the Rockets. They have been from the start. I didn't even bother thinking about the Dwight/Paul combo because I knew that wasn't going to happen. Just stay level about it. That's what I have to keep telling myself so I'm not disappointed next year when the team isn't much better. Not that I can watch it anyway.
Now the you-know-what starts to hit the fan with DeMarcus Cousins. I tell you Dan Fegan is a piece of work.
You really think I claim to have GONE THROUGH financials? I wouldn't even know what HALF that crap was. I was just given some estimated numbers and some things that Lin really helped out on. I never really sat and went through financial statements etc. Don't know how this stuff gets twisted.
Just ignore us naysayers, cyberx and keep spinning tales. I'm serious. They're fun and the reactions from the gullible rabble are even more entertaining. Those of us who want to actually know what's going on will keep up with whatever magic Google alerts setup J.R. has. But during the next edition of story time, can you incorporate a meeting with the general managers of multimillion dollar franchises again? Those are always the best.
With the Doc Rivers and KG to the Clippers and now this it has all the Paul makew it happen or i'll bolt finger prints all over it.Paul wanted KG all throughout the season and now the rumors BG for Dwight trade whom Paul has been texting all the time makes sense. The Clippers are banking a hell of a lot on Dwights health and ability to regain his pre-back surgery game. Griffen is a young stud and Bledsoe is no slouch.
Add me to the list that has been very skeptical of Cyberx. Last time i blasted him I had a bunch of folks down my back so i decided to keep it to myself. Looks like there are others now that feel the same way I do. The only part about it I don't understand is why someone like Clutch keeps letting him post.
He never claimed someone gave him the financials and that he sat down with Morey. He said he had seen some of them relating to Lin. For the people who don't believe cyberx, just go to another thread or ignore him. You're all forgetting the fact that he said he met clutch and has been vouched for by a number of very senior posters/moderators. If that was not true, he would probably be banned as a troll. Clutch would allow speculation but wouldn't allow someone telling outright lies. Cyberx called the Asik non-match before the news outlets did. It was about two days after that the national media said anything. He was also pretty insistent that Dwight really wanted LA over HOU when everyone on this board was convinced we were going to get him. He also broke the news about Dwight before the media started going with the Dwight to HOU stories. If you read cyberx's messages, they are mostly color commentary and possibilities, and not definitive predictions of the future. He never said Dwight was going to houston. He said Dwight was really seriously interested in Hou. He also said Dwight loves living in LA and that Fegan really wants Dwight there. So he never said it was a lock that Dwight comes here. So don't blame him if all of a sudden things change. Its looks like he was right - howards interest was serious enough for the lakers to do a 180% and possibly run back to phil. Even if cyberx were Morey, he couldn't tell you where Dwight was going. He's only reporting jnformation that he hears. Some of it may even be orchestrated by Dwight's camp - in part to make the lakers afraid and in part bc Dwight really is interested in Hou as a fallback. Cyberx never bothered with Atl, Dal or golden state even though a lot of idiotic national writers did. Long story short cyberx you are appreciated. Ignore the skeptics who conveniently forget logic.
Conveniently yesterday it was all over Twitter about Phil Jackson having a role with the Lakers. Conveniently, cyber posts more Dwight new and oh by the way, the Lakers are looking to bring Phil back in some capacity. Being in tune, he somehow is in tune with the Lakers front office as well, with this Phil news. Or, he read about the Jackson news like the rest of us, and struck while the iron was hot with an 'update'
Actually, Orlando found a much worse trade package and were generally blasted around the league for what they took. But the consensus is that Hennigan didn't want to be blackballed by Dwight/Fegan, and worked within understood parameters. Fast forward to the present, and the Houston roster has transformed from a wasteland to one filled with young talent and literally one player away from being a contender. Yes, what a great comparison last year is.
Never claimed to break the "Phil story". I gave insight as to why the Lakers brought it out to a group of media... All part of luring Dwight to stay in LA, that is all. ESPN LA had the Phil thing an hour before I posted about it.
This is the truth, according to my sources, who may or may not include David Stern, Alan Greenspan, Jeffrey Immelt, and Malia Obama.
