    BALLS TO THE WALLS DWIGHT.....

Point blank Howard,if he has any common sense and scrupples, would be to...

-sign with a young team (Rockets)
-play with a budding star in Harden
-get paid w/o a state tax and 3 years he wants
-Marketability in China beyond his current status (Battier is a super star over there!!wtf!)
-Grow a pair and dismiss the Lakers advances
-Realize the horrible situation in LA

and this is just a few reasons.....

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT THAT...IF YOU ARE A COMPETITOR AND ALL-STAR THEN WINNING AT ALL COSTS IS THE MOTIVE.

**I wish basketball players had the same winning/team attitude as football players (they care less about city, popularity, organizations) they just want to win and want the players on their team that will help them do that..j/s.**

    No.

The "news", which isn't even really news (seriously, Phil was actually an official consultant with Detroit, what a big difference that made), came out around 8:30 Pacific time, or 10:30 here. cyberx started with his bull**** after midnight. How convenient.

Okay, and I seem to remember him telling us about Chandler Parsons making the USA select team around the time the news broke, does anyone know if he broke it first?

Well, I hope you're right and we end up getting Howard but I dont know why you would discredit cyberx like that. He has given us some real solid information and he's been pretty much right the whole time.

You said Dwight's decision will be based on winning. But does anyone really believe him? We know he can never make up his mind and has been a huge flip-flopper these past couple of years.

CyberX is the world's best insider. The Rockets show him their marketing profits (lol), the Lakers tell him their free agent courting plans, the Magic tell him their plans, he has lunches with Morey, he knows about private meetings the Rocket players have, etc.

Of course, the first time he actually says something that can be proven one way or another (Phil getting consultant job) he says AFTER it's already news.

    Brilliant.

What has he been right about -- Dwight going to the Lakers last summer? They were always the Vegas favorites (look who is now, by the way). They had the best trade chip, even if the Magic didn't want it themselves, and they were a place Dwight and his agent would accept. He was right about Omer Asik? Everyone already knew the Bulls were extremely unlikely to match.

Attaching your name to established consensus predictions doesn't make you right or give you "real solid information". It makes you an educated guesser.

Never claimed to break that. I posted it with a link to back it up.

Nor did I claim to break the Phil deal.

All I did was ADD that it was being talked about because it would help the Dwight situation.

People here just find a way to attack and attack...

Cat - why don't you click ignore on all my posts so you won't have to deal with it? That would make things a lot easier and you won't have to read any of my "educated guesses".

He called the Asik story after it was already reported by Lance Z here in Houston that it wasn't going to be matched. Before Lance reported it most already believed it.

I'm going to break some news to you guys and explain why I'm so skeptical. For the first year ARod won an MVP with the Yankees, I had the information about 2 hours before it was released by MLB. I gave that information out on a message board, including the precise vote counts for the top 3. I know how hard inside information is protected and how things like that get back to people.

I can believe someone gets some inside information, but I refuse to believe that there is one person out there that people just can't keep their mouth shut around. If nothing else, the idea that Morey, of all people, sat down with CyberX and went over the Rockets financial statements to show him their profits is a bridge too far.

I'm gonna go ahead and put my name out there. My sources tell me the Heat will win game 7. If not the Heat, then Spurs.

You heard it here first, folks!

Can we stop belittling him? If someone chooses to believe it, then so be it.
