And a ton of Heat fans get up from the lower seats and head for the exits. 4-5 point game. NBA Finals. Lool, that's so Miami.

Let's be honest though... Rockets fans are hardly the most steadfast group, Clutchfans excluded. Can you imagine how annoying next years bandwagoners are gonna be when we beat Miami?

"Do you think Olajuwon will step up in the clutch when we need him after so much time off?" -Jimmy Kimmel style.

If this is a regular season game, no problem.

In a NBA finals game, specifically an elimination game, you don't leave till the last buzzer sounds even if your team is down 100 points.

The fact that they were within 4-5 pts seems ridiculous to me to leave.

I stayed for game 6 against the Thunder and cheered after the game was over. I would never leave me team when they need me the most.

How can you leave early in a finals game like i wouldn't leave a regular season game blowout early.

My friend a "heat fan" left the sports bar 4 min left in the third when the Spurs were up 12. We had a bet on the series and he told me "ill pay you thursday"

LMAO, I find it hilarious how little faith he has in his team. Needless to say, he missed a great 4th quarter/OT

They had to leave early to find another bandwagon to jump on.

Thus he left early and missed perhaps the most clutch shot in Ray Allen's entire career.

Karma rules if the Heat get crushed in game and their bandwagon fans leave early for a really good reason.

Obviously shows they know crap all about basketball. But not sure if bandwagoners are the most educated of fans.

I think guy with the "the greatest ever" shirt just saw Ray Allen's shot.

Anyway, every team has fair weather fans, that is just the nature of the game. Fans are sometimes so pretentious about their fandom, as though the fact they followed the team before someone else makes them superior. I have been following the rockets hardcore since 2002 so this is not a problem I run into.

But I do not follow the astros at all but if somehow they got into the world series and i somehow got tickets, you bet your sweet ass I would go and cheer. Fair weather...yep...but i can't pass up a intense game for all the marbles.
