it's just an observation that I've picked out about many people when it comes to the founders, supported by this thread title and premise. you come here to argue. if I wanted funny, I wouldn't be on the internet
It said and I repeated "attributed to Jeff Foxworthy." Actually I posted it without comment. Where did I say I "genuinely" believed it? I swear... y'all just make stuff up.
I came to argue? You pissed all over the thing first and started criticizing posters who agreed more than disagreed with the piece. I believe that is the sequence of events.
It nags on me when people try to change the truth and, particularly, don't see their own role in something. You jump in and start discrediting and misrepresenting... and then start pointing fingers. I'm cool. Just keeping it REAL.
this is an internet forum, you just copy and pasted a chain email--- glad to see you're keeping it REAL. this is like Harvey Milk-type REALISM. Anyways, you seem like you're personally affected for some strange reason by some observations I've made, so I'm going to duck out, because sensitive people who start talking about their personal feelings just ain't my thang. peace
It nags me when people blindly pass on internet chain emails that are full of false information (like who the author is...). That is very irresponsible. I know that this was supposed to be a joke (although there is zero humor involved) but the principle is the same.
Based on your history of posting stupid chain letters and thinking they merit discussion, there is zero reason to (a) believe you thought it was a joke or (b) didn't agree with what was in the context of it. It's odd how you always post things that happen to support your general positions, then say "I didn't comment! You assumed too much!" If you don't want people to assume based on your ridiculous history, don't post garbage here without comment.
my mother brought me up in a house where we had to listen to Vanilla Ice on loop now emotions are nothing to me
If this was not meant to be a joke... OP would have been better off saying I didn't realize this was a fake, but i believe in these points. Let's have at it. D&D style. Having responsibility for your actions and thoughts instead of hiding behind them does wonder.
I'm not saying we should worship the Founders but I do think the backlash against the Founders often gets to be too much. As always understanding historical perspective and context is important and given their time there should be no doubt that the Founders were geniuses.
Northside and Giddy maybe this will make both of you smile. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/PTcVNuNX8yY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I'm personally on a tangent with Vine videos, if you really want to make me chuckle. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/7APIHl820uU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
