They are certainly different from other NBA jerseys.

surely if u grow up from a little boy (or girl) shooting without sleeves and then you chuck them on itd be annoying? i know players practice in sweats n whatever but just seems a bit silly..

honestly it just looks like everyone has one of those shirts that Dwight Howard wears. Not a big deal until you seem them up close. not a BIG color difference on the shorts either.

I'm with you but roll the clock ahead and watch most of the other teams do something similar. Then these won't look stupid anymore.

    NBA to expand short-sleeve audition

Hoping in part to push along sales of NBA jerseys, more teams will wear uniforms with sleeves next season.

An NBA source told ESPN.com that as many as five teams will wear the short-sleeve jerseys as an alternate jersey for as much as 12 games during the season.

What a bunch of crock, why would you want to endorse jerseys that are not even real basketball jerseys?? Sleeveless is what makes it comfortable Stern and company. NBA going down fast with the soccer jerseys, soccer advertisements, what's next: introducing the term 'schwalbe' or 'fake dive' instead of flopping, getting red and yellow cards instead of flagrants and regular fouls, getting a penalty when fouled in the paint with a shot blocker in between - outside the paint is a free 'throw' so pass or shoot with a wall of defenders in front of you ;)

This is probably the motivation -- it's harder to fit advertisements on a sleeveless basketball jersey. If they can make a full transition to sleeved jerseys, they can start selling ad space and making more money.

It's going to get really ugly and you imagine if everywhere in the world they will play in the jerseys specially made for this sport and the NBA starts to go with copy soccer? The NBA and the US will be the laughing stock of the sportsworld. Maybe another reason is because soccer is basically the only sport that is not popular and Americans suck at, they're trying to do it this way ;)

i guess im the only one who likes the jersey. It looks like something you can actually wear out. I wear soccer jerseys and love it. But, i can never wear a bball jersey bc its tacky with an under shirt and bball is my fav sport and only a casual soccer fan.

The only problem was the shorts for the Warriors. If you take the pinstripes away and wear a size smaller, they would look great.
